This may sound weird, but what I really like about it is that I can turn the pages horizontally rather than scroll them vertically. It feels more intuitive that way.
Ive used the app for a couple of years now its great for the solo artist and gives a great prompt enabling me to have a huge selection of songs to suit the gig and cover many requests. I can sing songs from the seventies off the top of my head but don’t gig enough to do that with all my songs hats off to anyone who can. I have encountered a bit of snobbery from others when i play in a band and agree crib sheets can help but this app is superb for editing, scroll speed, key changes on the fly ❤
JamZone is very cool much larger chords and and scrolls left to right and back up band and you can drop out the instrument of your choice drop out vocals or guitar or both and band plays
@carstendorr6739 I can't find an option on there for this. You can input a songs duration into the metadata for it, so there may well be a way to get to display the total length of a set and I'm just missing where it is, so will let you know if I find it
The IP address numbers it shows are local network addresses. They only work for someone on the same WiFi network as your tablet. So there wasn't actually any need to hide them.😊
@worshipfulchords Yeah, I know what you mean. Some subscription models I really like, when you're actually getting some form of continued service and see that your money is actually going towards continued improvements to programmes, others are just a rip off and make no sense. A programme like this makes no sense as a subscription based model, and this one was soooo reasonably priced, I expected it to not be as good as I've found it to be
@@rtogurl There are various options for font and colour in the personalisation section in settings. I think you can colour all your verses or all your choruses differently
Thank you for the review Emma. Yes the app that I’m currently using OnSong does all this but they switched to a subscription model and depending on what tier you subscribe you are limited to how many songs you can import. I let my subscription lapse and now I can use the app but can’t import/export any new songs. Needless to say I’m looking for a new app and I think this is it. One question please, Can you change the color of the chords? Not a deal breaker but I feature I like in OnSong. Thanks again.
@stevenadvensky1761 So, I hadn't thought to check this before. Just had a look now. You can't change the colour of the text of the chords but you can add a highlighter colour to them so that they look like you've used a highlighter on them. You can change font size and colour of all of the different parts of the song, Heading, Metadata, Lyrics etc
I have a problem after buying Songbook Pro online and installing. When I create a new song by typing it in myself and saving it won't scroll. I've been through all the settings and still it does work. Yet if I import a song it does scroll. I'm very disappointed because I really thought it would all go well. And the chords I type in over the words turn into numbers on the main screen after saving.
@emilloffler1216 that's strange. I've never had this problem myself, so can't really offer any advice. Have you tried seeing if there's a tech support to contact. I would assume there would be one. I've manually typed in all my songs and that's never happened with any of them, so maybe uninstalling and reinstalling the app would help, if there's been a flitch with the install maybe.
I can try that. And the problem whereby scrolling speed of lyrics does not sync with my backing in some places, not matter how I slow down or speed up with scrolling. I'm just about ready to go back to rather using my typed song lyrics and chords in my flip files on my music stand.
@@rtogurl Hi, so I'm not sure how all of the import features work exactly. I have exported a song list from Songbook on one device and imported that through the import file option when you press the + at the bottom of your song lists. I think you import PDF files and such as well, but I haven't tried all the features

One thing I’d like to see in this app is the ability to edit/customize chord diagrams.
Smashing!

Where do you get the songs itself from?
Thanks for that review. One question left: Is it possible to see the total running time of a setlist?

Just please tell how to put songs in

I like that I won't be providing residual income to the publisher. I hate subscription models and this is a very well priced product for what it does.

How can I cha ge the color of say, one particular verse or Chorus?

I have tried. What os did was change the "title" color. ie... the word Chorus or verse.

Can you send the songs to a larger monitor via Bluetooth or USB chord or something like that. It would be like a teleprompter

You can import from Ultimate Guitar.

Hi. Yeah, I do import from UG. I was wondering how to import complete lists. Maybe I misunderstood the reference in the video. Thanks.
