I agree with you Rhoda. A lockdown might be coming. Things are so stressful across the country right now, we need to be prepared with stocked food. This will be less stressful if you have food and not panicked if stores close for whatever reason. You know that saying, prepare for the worst, and hope for the best
I place the veggie scraps after peeling or cutting off ends in a container and place in freezer. I add to the container every time have veggie scraps. When container full place all veggie contents in pot with water to cover boil until veggies parts soft strain have veggie broth. Rhoda, could you rewrite the one sheet of paper you wrote out initially in red ink. Looks like you have some wonderful recipes on that page written out in red ink. I cannot see it clearly even when you hold it up to camera during video. Could you rewrite in black ink instead. Thank you.
Coconut water excellent to keep you hydrated in hot weather Cosco has it by the case and is the only brand I have found that contains just coconut and water I will check dollar tree thanks for tip!
Did they shut down grocery stores out there? That seems extreme. Here, it was not shut down by the state, but a lot of businesses did it voluntarily for a little while. I never understood the extreme fear after a while. At first, it seemed scary, but after a few weeks, not so much.
Rhoda grocery shops and picks up extras for her food storage pantry. She's utilizing what she has on hand, in order to rotate the food she has in there (first in/first out). She's avoiding having to throw out expired food, while saving money by not having to grocery shop multiple times, and pay full price (she gets alot of discount grocery items). She knows what she's doing.
