Onmyo-Za is in my top five metal bands of all time. Absolutely love that band. But they are definitely the kind of band that can confuse some western metalheads, because of the combination of genres that the band plays within. I would definitely recommend anybody who wants to get into the band to listen to the album, Kishibojin. It's such an incredible album, and it's a concept album. I think it perfectly demonstrates what the band is all about.

same here, 「鬼子母神」surely is the one of the masterpieces for my favor concept albums, the storyline and every perspective of the characters are so intriguing and intense!

Onmyo-Za's lyrics too. You need a dictionary and encyclopedia to figure out some of the references. In that sense they're similar to Ningen Isu. Generally speaking Japanese bands in the harder genres tend to have more interesting lyrics than their Western counterparts.

@@michaelmunno It IS a beautiful guitar. That and the Explorer I've seen Ayumi pictured with. (I really don't like the look of the Dean Vs just to make my bias clear. I don't like the V headstock and I think the guitars look too big, too clunky for both Ayumi and Miyako of LoveBites). I worry, though, that the zippers on that gorgeous jacket might mar the finish of the G-Life.
