Amazing passion and energy. As a black Zimbabwean I am so humbled to hear fellow white Zimbabweans not only sing in Shona but sing a Chimurenga song. Thank you Zimbabwe.
***** Agreed, unlike the clear biological aspect of skin composition e.g. melanin quantity, race is arguably socially constructed and political. It is no doubt that politics is a major context of human life but is everything necessarily political? In the context of this video, I felt that some fellow 'white' Zimbabweans (I assume) made a commendable effort to sing a song that actually speaks against their very presence in Zimbabwe. In my view this is building bridges for unity advocated for by national heroes such as Josiah Tongogara and Joshua Nkomo. It surely takes a great heart to learn and perform a song that in some ways degenerates ones' own history.
this totally humbles me as a genuine Zimbo no wonder the direction we are heading as a nation with elected leadership hopefully we shal be like Paul-Soul
guys zvakaoma ,tiri vanhu vamwe bt politics inoparadzanisa vanhu look this stuff enjoying our music the way we enjoy Westlife ,Ub 40,Celine Dion ....awesome eish
I am proud to be Zimbabwean, they took a classic and made it their own! Great, great greatest Thank you for posting. We also thank the late Mbira guru, the late Mr.Dumi Maraire who took the Mbira to the world as a music teacher in the States....all these years later we are beginning to enjoy the fruits of his hardwork.
This song touches me big tym. It was all good for all of us Zimbabweans regardless our races, skin colour whatsoever to uniting and built our lovely nation. Now our motivation is just in dreams bcz there is a group of certain individuals who grabbed power, and take the country as their personal property. They now no longer serve the principles of the people but only to serve their personal interest and it paining me so much.
Proud of what this a song meant to be sung by black Zimbabweans this is a joke this song carries zero meaning and insulting if performed by none black Zimbabweans that were not affected by the war .
Where do u get American CANT U C Andy Brown and I know the women singing she was born and bred in Rhodesia but has integrated into Zim.Instead of being negative be proud as is Mbuya

Amazing passion and energy. As a black Zimbabwean I am so humbled to hear fellow white Zimbabweans not only sing in Shona but sing a Chimurenga song. Thank you Zimbabwe.
***** Interesting, but how does singing a Chimurenga song "protect European interests?"
