Amazing channel! I got a painful story of about new Remakes. In late 2015 I was in contact with Capcom about the facial likeness role of Leon for the RE 2 Remake. I failed to mention I also have a voice acting background, in the end I lost the part...Now, many years later, when I see how successful those remakes are I can't forgive myself for wasting such a chance. In this business one audition can change your entire life. Happy New Year!

For a franchise about monsters and zombies, it's weird to think RE probably does this laser trap better than anyone else. I think if they don't make the lasers so 'James Bondy/spy movie', they could use them more in the future
When I saw Chris dogning lazers, my inner Leon fanboy went....nah, its not as cool as when Leon does it....but then I decided,....dont be Leon Stan....its dumb reguardless of who does the lazer dodging.....tho it makes sense for Ada Wong as she is a spy
FUN FACT: The Laser Room was originally in George Romero's script for Resident Evil, tho is was more like streams of acid sprayed from wall nozzles but still, it was made like lasers. So, we technically have George Romero to thank for the Laser Room. Paul W. S. Anderson just took it too far.
Unrelated but, it's nice you had Carnevil music playing in the background. The laser room from the first movie traumatized me as a kid 😅 then seeing it in re4 I was like oh boy..
You kinda forgot to mention the one on Re6 in the Leon X Chris chapter, there is a corridor where you have to dodge lasers coming your way

I do not acknowledge any films other then the animated CG ones. Don't get my wrong I love Paul's Mortal Kombat, Event Horizon, Soldier and Death Race but his Resident Evil movies are absolutely trash. The games are better movies then the movies. Shoe horning his wife into a video game franchise that already had amazing characters was just Hollywood at it's finest.
Seeing laser rooms in those movies makes me think they want resident evil to be a spy thriller.
it made sense for a character like Ada, as she is a spy. but for everybody eles.....nah.

There'd be laser room and boulder punching minigames, for a start.
the laser room was nice... when it initially showed up. but after more than 4 times it draws a groan rather than excitement. i'm honestly rather sick of them
While we got a ton of laser rooms. I think my favorite has to be the one from Umbrella chronicles. It's short simple and depending on who you are playing as you do get a slightly different perspective

The games and movies having the characters dodging literal beams of light was always dumb.
