      @thebrianchannel9890 If you read his description, you'll see he decided to start learning how to juggle in 2017. This video was posted in 2018. That's a year of juggling. I'm a juggler myself and I've been a juggler for about 14 years now. He's been a juggler for 6, almost 7 years. I have twice the experience he has with juggling. I can juggle balls, rings, clubs and I can even juggle fire (fire juggling video on my channel if you want proof). As someone with tons of juggling experience and a self taught juggler at that, you can tell when someone's been putting in the effort and practice to get better at juggling and you can appreciate a good juggler when you see one because you know how much practice it takes to be a good juggler. This video is in no way discouraging to watch. This guy did an amazing job. He can do some tricks I can't even do. He's in no way a bad juggler. He's a great juggler. Get out of here with your negativity.

      Just start simple with 2 balls make sure throws are uniform. Then get the 3 ball cascade down. Stand in front of a wall to begin with (to stop throwing forward) and remember throwing higher gives you more time.

    • @o-k9267
      @o-k9267 4 года назад

      What helped me the most was simply practicing the trick with only 2 balls, even if I knew the trick already. Because early box always looks terrible, your throwing/catching hand will tend to rise up too much and your hands will be close together. 2 balls allow you to have more time and less stress perfecting these throws in each hand. Also take a shower.

      @Broskidile 4 года назад +3

      Hey great question!! The first month was pretty difficult because I had no skills or feel for the rhythm of it. I spent a lot of time practicing what I would call 'base' tricks-- tricks that aren't too complex but have a lot of variations that can be built off of. The 423 and one-up two-up are good examples of this.
      After that it got pretty easy, I found I could learn a trick every few days if I just focussed on it :) Some tricks took longer than others though. For example it only took me a day to learn the weave, but the box took a couple weeks!

    (you’ve gotta edit a clip with the alternating factory And voice saying “get that outta heeere” each time at the top of the pattern.)
    why? Cause it’ll be funny ✌️

    what was your strategy for learning? going through a list of prerequisites for each trick?

    • @Broskidile
      @Broskidile 5 лет назад +1

      More or less! I started with the basics and worked my way up, learning variations on them as time went on. I recommend learning the cascade, the 423, and one up two up, as well as their bad variations. That will give you a lot of skills to move forward

    50+ tricks in a year means that you learned one trick every week! you must have put a lot of time on juggling during that year *o*

    Do you have any resources you recommend? Also, how’d you know which tricks you were ready to try next?

    • @Broskidile
      @Broskidile 3 года назад

      I started by putting a lot of time in with basic tricks like cascade, 423, and one-up two-up. Then I would try and find tricks online that were similar in concept to those and use the skills I had already learned to keep progressing. That kind of helped guide me forward.
      As for finding new patterns, I watched a TON of three ball juggling trick compilation videos on youtube like this one. If I ever saw a trick that I liked I would write it down and then start looking for tutorials for it. There are lots of great tutorials on here, and eventually you'll find people who have a teaching style that resonates with you.
      As for resources:
      Library of Juggling - A great website with a list of lots of tricks
      3balljuggling - A great instagram page with lots of tricks and descriptions of them
      Juggling Lab - My current favourite juggling app. Good for slowing tricks down and understanding whats happening
      The IJA Siteswap tutorial videos on RUclips - These were SO HELPFUL for me, just because it unlocked a lot of understanding in my brain. It also helped me better at digesting tutorials that used siteswap.
