Winning in the Playoffs is the best feeling ever and for me better than automatic promotion. Losing however is complete heartbreak 💔 congratulations to Sheffield Wednesday especially after that comeback against Peterborough but I feel for Barnsley. The night before this game, I woke up in the early hours to the sound of an owl hooting in the trees across the road from our house. It filled me with dread at the time and our day at Wembley was just confirmation. We battered them in both League games and then this. Heart breaking.

Andersen and Isted had huge games for you and were the two best players on the pitch but the Barnsley players just ran out of steam and ironically Bannan going off (which you lot cheered) led to fresh legs in Dele-Bashiru coming on and harassing your back line and led to the goal.
If you keep the manager and the core of that team then you will be favourites for automatic promotion next season.

They deserved to be there for being the only team to come to Hillsborough and win and taking all six points off us and ending our unbeaten streak and finishing 4th but Sheff Wed deserved to go up for finishing 3rd.
I was there & the nature of the last second defeat is what hurts, I think both clubs deserved to go up but such is the nature of the beautiful game. Regardless of the 2 big decisions going against us, missing that sitter in extra time was us failing to win the game

What match did you watch? Wednesday won that by 4 or 5 goals if it wasn't for their keeper. Barnsley had 3 really good chances and failed to convert.

Good video fella's. Can't help but feel the 'bigger guy' needs a new comedy take on Wednesday rather than sarcastically harping on about Wednesday being a big club. I don't personally know a Wednesday fan that boasts of being a 'big club' other than stating the obvious, which does come mostly from the media that they have a decent amount of fans and consistently take a good amount of fans away. Now if that warrants dated humour and unoriginality then fine but other than that how is a team that has not been in the top tier for many many years boasting about being a big club? For what reason? Maybe our neighbours could boast that due to achieving success and having a decent fanbase, but no, stick to Wednesday and being unoriginal. Also the comment about being a longball team. Well you beat Wednesday twice in the season with Wednesday trying to play through the midfield and got beaten, same tactics may have led to same result. Although I don't agree it was long ball, it achieved what was the desired outcome. I'm sure any Barnsley fan would have loved a 1-0 win by someone scoring off their backside and the football not being great. Humour, sarcasm, unoriginality and underlying bitterness. The video had it all. Still it was a good video and I certainly wish Barnsley all the best. Good team and good town.
