@@zem6217 I own the bike. You cant ride like you do, you sre hurting the piston rods and the engine is suffering trying to produce power. Honda 500cc twins are actually meant to be used all the way theough the rev range, since they can easily take it up to 8k. By short shifting like you do (50 kmh 5th gear?) you are neither saving fuel nor doing the bike a favor. You should be in 3rd gear at 5. But do as you like.
@@grtbgf I generally agree with you, low-rpm does not translate into taking care of it, nor does rev the hell out of this particular engine. He's doing mostly well tho.

You are hurting the bike with too early shifts. You cant ride it 60 kph in 6th gear.
I guess you are not familiar with the extremely short gears of the Honda CB 500 x. So I can. I would never hurt my baby.
