Don't you think Rabbi, that not looking at something is actually ignoring it? You actually see much more than you rember. You can't controll your sight, but you can controll the way you are absorbing it. Unfortunatly you only have a chance to learn this when you actually do look at the things! There is this story with the snakes that we read today, this is exactly it! They would look at the problem, face it, and be able to heal it. Modesty is about you it is not about the other. You feel ambarressed about a friend coming out half naked from the bathroom? Can you just tell your friend to get dressed? Is a soul suffering from a friend coming out half naked from the BR? Or is it more the fact that it represents temptation? Could you just shut the temptation down, I can do it - I mean - if a friend has a very handsome boyfriend, but he is not mine, I would not consider him a potencial lover - I would look at him as a pal, because I love my friend (like friends do!) ... So, I do not think not looking is a solution whatsoever!
