I was drawn to Tarot two years ago when I realised how I could channel the universal energy to help others … I have been learning different tarot spreads until I recently decided to learn about the Kabbalah or as you refer to it, the Cabalah … I immediately felt a strong connection to this spread and I wanted to understand and learn more. i intuitively drew an additional axis to this tree of life illustration, i then took that diagram and granted it a parallel that contained in it the antithetical theme to the meaning of the node. i then went on to visualize each node containing in it miniature structures that correspond to the greater scaffolding of the previous dialectic of thesis and antithesis, such contrasts when drawn as emergent properties of each node cause some of them to be void, as the nonsequiteurs are not always going to hold relevant themes of significance at first glance/overlap. a creative mind can with time present a plot or story that grants this discord some sense, and requires assets of both; cronological lapse or age versus experience, here is the sweet bit; as experience goes hand in hand with wit and intelligence, the scope of what can be observed will reflect the insight of observer. the part that makes it fun is that not all who wonder are lost, and not all with age are wise. feel bad for the misguided. the difference between misinformation and disimformation is a very ligitimate distinction here. i wonder how this would look in my mind if i were to refresh the i ching and its tendency to speak in terms of peaks and valleys of contrasting opposites.

I wouldn't say Tarot cards come from Kabbalah necessarily, since nobody really knows where Tarot cards come from. The first deck was traced back to mid-15th century Italy and that, I believe, was merely used for playing card games. The first record of people using the Tarot for "occult" purposes dates to the late 18th century. It was only after that, that people (and I'm guessing Kabbalists too) began making associations between the Tarot and esoteric concepts. It was later on that the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn solidified these associations and drew attention to their study as an occult practice, and of course, you have A.E. Waite adding for the first time in history pictorial images to the Minor Arcana (whereas until then, previous decks only had the numbers and the symbols of each suit marking the Minors). I think we owe much of the association between the Tarot and Kabbalah to the Golden Dawn's teachings, and that was quite recently, compared to the history of Tarot in general.

Do poems have any meaning with tarot numbers mapping yor past? Are your neighbours annoying? Is married life something that happens to other human beings? What should we eat? Why are head mystery? Why is physical symbolim a language beyond literature?
