No, I'm not a fan of Ferrari, never have been. I am a Porsche fan. The beauty of the 356. The madness of the Yellow Bird, the B class legend 959, the jaw dropping engineering of the 919 Hybrid Evolution and the never ending classic of the 911.
Porsche is the everyman car as well as arguably the greatest maker of racing cars. GT series, B Class Rally, Endurance and soon Formula 1.
I'm actually not I like some models but I'm an all out Lamborghini fan.

See episode when the rear of the Ferrari was literally disintegrating because of the gravel thrown from the rear wheels, whilst the Audi R8 had absolutely no problem, so yeah they are special , built quality wise, they are shit 👍

I'll never forget the scene at the end because you can hear Clarkson, just for a second, genuinely afraid for his life. That P1 scared him to death and he thought he was going to die there. No jokes, no sarcasm, genuine terror.

Enzo Ferrari didn't love Miami Vice at first. During the shows first 2 seasons, Crockett drove a Ferrari Daytona replica (a corvette with a bodykit). Enzo hated the fact that they was using a replica so he gave the Miami Vice team an ultimatum - destroy the Daytona replica and I'll give you two Testarossa's (one for close ups and one stunt car) or you will have a court case..... It was then decided that a white Testarossa would look good during the night scenes. Needless to say Miami Vice was a great advertisement for the Testarossa.
LaFerrari truly is THE Ferrari. The name isn't quite as stupid as one first thought.

Ferrari is literally the Thanos of the automotive world.
No no the main reason about the Miami Vice Testarossa is that they used Corvette based replica's for the black 365 Daytona Spider. Enzo was not pleased about that and using his emblem on a fake product so they delivered real Testarossa's to the show.

Enzo Ferrari legacy is unmatable.
Nobody makes such beautiful supercars with so much soul and emotion as Ferrari does. Pure automotive perfection. As Jeremy Clarkson once said: "I would like to consider Ferrari as a scaled down version of God."
We see big corporates making movies about how a big automotive company made a best race car after a lot of time and money and beat Ferrari in le mans, but we don't see any movies or books about a small under budgeted car company making the best of the best cars in the world and beating big corprative automotive companies in every race it could a lot of people think that Ferrari and Enzo are villians here but I think they tend to forgot that how a average car lover just out of his passion and love for racing made the best supercars of all time. This is the power of true love for car. Ferrari the true Sigma of super car world👌😎😎😎

I just realize, other than the 488, James May has been testing all of those, the P3, the testarossa, his own 458 speciale (obviously), and LaFerrari. And because 488 is not on the timing sheet, you could therefore, argue that it's not in the show, and conclude that James has been the only one testing a Ferrari in the show.

That P3 was a beauty. Unfortunately none have survived. The one driven here by JM is a replica.
The episode Trivia by writer Richard Porter does note that they were all converted into the P3/4, upgraded over its predecessor (and which James May was driving during the Ford v. Ferrari documentary). Since all of them were given this treatment, no genuine P3s were left in existence.

I think you sound like an elitist. Modern Ferraris are all great. From the insane engineering of the SF90 to the crazy track cars like 458 Speciale, 488 Pista and 812 Competizione. The new SUV looks great too. Enzo wanted F1 wins, not "pure racing cars for the street". That became a thing by the fans. Anything that sells well would be ok for Enzo as long it funded the F1 team. Stop being a nostalgia boomer.
