@Seer Not sure where this was recorded, but I'm from Ohio and a quick Google search tells me that a verbal warning is the only thing he'd be allowed to give. There's also a court case that showed up where a Mr. Sean Sowards was pulled over by Deputy James Elliot by unaided visual speed, and the court recognized that a visual estimation of someone's speed isn't even enough evidence to justify a traffic stop. Got all that from the 30 seconds it took to look it up on Google

There's also a court case that showed up where a Mr. Sean Sowards was pulled over by Deputy James Elliot by unaided visual speed, and the court recognized that a visual estimation of someone's speed isn't even enough evidence to justify a traffic stop. Checking your speed is literally designed in such a way that you aren’t distracted too much from the quick glance. Therefore you can easily check your speed and check wether someone is moving faster than you.

As for ‘doing everything a cop says…’ where does that apply here? The only thing the cop said was that he pulled him over for speeding. Heck he didn’t even say he was giving him a ticket. The man was out of his place being a jackass for no reason. Only in America is it common for you to argue with police officers. Everywhere else in the world will either accept the fine if they were speeding, or take it to court if they think they were not. Arguing with officers achieves nothing.
