I depicted Shadow Dash as a male Alicorn from another dimension that bears a striking resemblance to Rainbow Dash(though he's gray in colour with a red and black mane/tail). He's not afraid to stand up for others, and is a true friend to everypony in Equestria, even though there were slight signs of heartfelt feelings toward Twilight and his multi-coloured counterpart. His everlasting courage was what gave him his Cutie Mark(which happens to be identical to Rainbow's), and has earned him the nickname of "Equestria's Ultimate Life-Form".

Honestly in my opinion. I think Rainbow Dash should sing Xenophance part section 1, Applejack should sing Knuckles part and Rarity should sing Xenophance part section 2.
Some of it is just how I imagined it! Fluttershy as tails, RD as Knuckles, and Pinkie Pie as robotnic and Twilight as Sonic exe! (I didn't imagine Apple Jack in Sonic's 2nd, and Rarity in Sonic's)
