The main character being Twilight makes sense cause she is the main character of MLP:FIM just like how Sonic is the main character of Sonic the Hedgehog. All the STH characters I replaced with MLP characters have something in common when it comes to their overall representation in their respective Franchises, so I wanted to choose that way.
I did thought of that but I think it's more in character for him to appear out of nowhere like Eggman in the original song. like, you see all of the freakshow versions of these characters and then there is Discord, appearing out of nowhere, looking normal, laughing and then leaving. It just makes more sense to me.
