I’ve been sugar and grain free, keto, for 6 years. I was 60 lbs over weight at 67 years old. I dropped the excess weight over 2 years of low carb then keto, now carnivore. At 74 I’m still at my ideal weight effortlessly and feel better and more physically active than I was at 64.

I generally don’t think of anyone in the capacity of being hero-esque, but at the ripe age of freshly turning 39, I couldn’t be anymore grateful to have stumbled upon the films ‘FAT: A Documentary’ pt.1&2 and ‘Beyond Impossible’, to find you, my new personal hero. The knowledge you carry is powerful and life changing, not only for myself, but for all the lives you’ve touched and will spread to throughout into the future of humankind. I’ve waited 39 years to come along and finally find the holy-grail of truth. This is why I can call you a true hero! I can’t thank you enough!

I did keto and exercise for about a year at 63 yrs old. Lost 130 lbs and felt better than i ever did. I stalled at 220lbs and felt that i could lose more but could not. Then around the christmas holidays i started to cheat food wise and not exercising. Now months later i have gained 25 lbs back and not feeling good sbout it. A video with mike rowe and yourself came iin my feed as well as othes popped up and triggered me. I am now on the second week of sereverly limiting carbs and sugars. Eating 2x a day so i am back at it. I know that i know that I know these foods you suggested work at losing weight.
Proud to say i am back in the saddle to losing weight. Knowing now its a long slow journey but a good one none the less. Thanks Vinnie!

I appreciate you, Vinnie! Lucky for me to be a Mike Rowe fan because I was led to you and you showed me a simple way of eating that gave results. I lost 12 lbs in six weeks, mostly bloat from a high carb and sugar diet, and I didn’t feel deprived at all. I am 56 next month and have struggled with the peri menopause cravings and weight gain. My weight is stable now and where I would like to stay so I appreciate the info of examples of what you eat on a daily basis. Looking forward to your next podcast and video!

I've become so much better connected to what I put into my body after starting to watch your videos and reading your pdf. (and I'm losing weight doing it). I like it even more that you're not a doctor - you have a way of communicating, in common speak, how your body responds (i.e., hormones, etc) to sugar and grains. I've found it easier to understand than anything I've seen. Thank you!

A good way to eat more greens (kale included) Buy in bulk, wash and shred in food processor until it looks like parsley flakes. Then either freeze 2-4 tbl at a time.
Or, much easier/less space, dehydrate them and put into a reused spice jar. Half tbl equals about same of two tbl frozen.
Every time make something, add some greens to it. Looks like seasoning so my picky eaters get some minerals.
Bonus is if do the same with beets it turns anything with tomatoes a deep rich red.😊 Also great for the heart.
There are many more varieties of beets than just kind factories get sugar from. The greens are great too!
*Not a substitute for any seasoning. Blends in well

Chicken eggs, what about duck eggs? I eat both but prefer duck eggs. Beef has been part of my life, at least 1 pound daily for almost 40 years. I grew up seeing all the "fat free" propaganda. Remember Snackwells? Used to laugh at those while I ate fatty meats and the fattiest dairy I could get. Eating lard was another thing I did for shock value along with raw liver. I hate veggies but have added it to ground beef to appease my health conscious parents. My rule was no leaves, stems, seeds or roots. Always saw seeds as toxic.

I do neither carnivore nor plant based but a combination of all natural whole foods. I especially like grass fed beef and cage free eggs. Grass fed cows' butter too.
But I also eat a lot of vegetables and fruits too, and I have been steadily losing weight.
I love spinach. During the summer months I grow Egyptian spinach and Malabar spinach. Even though they are from the okra and beet families, these plants have great nutrients too, and they are good substitutes when spinach won't grow here in the summer.
I only eat dry roasted nuts. Unsalted too so I can use my own Celtic or Himalayan salts instead.
    No seed oils!
