I like the timing of your videos. I'm on the West Coast. Most creators I follow post earlier in my day, and that doesn't leave anything for the evening.
I picked one up a couple of months ago and I really enjoy flying this one. Nice and stable and long flight times. As a camera drone guy who started in fpv this year with 1s tinywhoops this was a great next step up and really enjoy the way it fly's. With a tattoo 850mah I get 10 minutes of flight with no additional camera on board. Mine however is a analog with crossfire, so not as much weight as the digital version.( 134 grams) ...I'm glad to see you review this one, it's a keeper for me anyway. ;-)

Hi there steve! The more I fly this little quad the more I love it. I've really been able to push the limits of where I fly into the tightest spots and gaps that I've ever tried to push through. I've tried to push through some concrete garbage cans that are on a college campus I fly on Sundays when no one's around. The Gap to get through is about 5 in tall and maybe 12 in wide. I have not made it through yet, but when I have tried the fox whoop just bounces back off of the concrete about 10 ft and just keeps on going. Have had no issues with the frame or Motors or ESC burning up. I hope I'm not jinxing myself saying all of this, but this thing can take one heck of a beating. The college has these spots where you can park your bikes. They are 3-in round steel pipes in the shape of a upside down U. They are spaced about a foot apart and they have them in rows 20 to 30 ft long. This past Sunday I was determined to get through a whole row of them. After a few crashes and walks of Shame I finally made it through the whole way. Man was I excited LOL. I do not have another quad that I would trust to take a beating like this one did. Hopefully after next Sunday's flights I will be able to say I made it through the garbage can LOL happy flying

Interesting and competition for the new DJI Avata. About a third of the cost of the Avata too…about three batteries to get similar duration…hmmmm. Thanks Laurie NZ.
The AVATA is in a different category. DJI is the only company that makes HYBRID FPV Drones (Part GPS & Sensor Camera Drone, Part FPV Drone). The AVATA will be excellent for people who have been flying GPS Camera Drones that wish to now fly with Goggles. An true FPV RC Hobby drone, is designed to be very light, powerful with no stability or sensors so that the pilot has full control. Much harder for beginners to learn on as their first FPV drone.

Good quad, very stable in acro mode, on ELRS/HDZero version more than 6 minutes non-aggressive flight on Chinese CNHL 4S 650 batteries with Hawkey Firefly XLite II powered from Foxwhoop board. Two main drawbacks: no buzzer pre-installed, and to solder one the frame must be disassembled completely, since the pads are under carbon part. Without buzzer searching for it in grass is very hard :( Disassembling it to access the flight controller is even harder than on PAVO, since all the motors should be removed. Also only two sets of 5V pads on controller, one for camera, one for ELRS, it you want autonomous buzzer with battery you need to decide which one to piggyback to :( And while propguards are very crash-resistant they are no abrasion-resistant. Lading on pavement to often will eat away small pips it has instead of landing pads in one season.
Surprised to see that, they are really useful in natural disasters etc here in New Zealand…they are being used in Sydney now to survey the Harbour bridge and others for maintenance work. Perhaps this would encourage your Govt? Laurie NZ.
So where are we now in terms of the current crop of '25' cinewhoops? Cinelog25, Protek R25, Protek Pusher 25, Pavo25, are they much of a muchness or is there still a stand out winner? I see people switch the fragile Cinelog25 frame out for the Foxwhoop frame. Haven't watched too many head to heads from yourself, is this perhaps the time to do one? Finally did I miss something, I could not see camera damping, I like that about the cinelog25 frame the polar is dampened and is the SMO4k mount

What i would like to know is with a pair of say FatSharks or DJI goggles will i see an image " closer " to my fov and not the tunnel effect ??? i do not know anyone who has goggles.
I get 6.5mins with very mellow cruising on an 850mah 4s battery. I've tried 2 brands, the same results. That's without any mounted external camera. On a 650mah, I can only get as close to 4mins. And with a 550mah, I can only get close to 3 mins.
That *IS* the Cinelog25. They copied every bit of it. It's worth noting my own Cinelog25, while durable, also has issues with it's closely packed electronics. It resets with little bumps and has, after 2 months, just mysteriously stopped working at all. Same design likely means same issues. :/
If bumps cause issues, it is then just a soldered wire that touches (grounds) upon those tiny bumps. Just take it apart and make sure no two wires are touching at a solder point and also check that no exposed wires have been cut or stripped.

I always get asked such questions but I'm not the person to ask because I've been at this for many years and have preferences that are not like yours, themfore my preferences are for my needs and skills (even my radio would be setup different than yours). All I can tell you is that in the new world of FPV drones, the tech is such that there is no GREAT vs CRAPPY drone. They are all really good. What the user must decide is the size, what they plan to carry and use it for, and max battery size along with digital/analog.
I'm having problems configuring mine, when I accelerate less than half the throttle, the drone goes flying aimlessly, I've tried everything to solve it!
When you order an FPV Drone (also called an FPV Kwad), just be sure to select a RECEIVER that is compatible with the RADIO you own or are going to own.
@@robs.patrick9691 if you have the Black DJI FPV controller then you would order Vista and PNP (plug & play) receiver or None (sometimes ‘None’ means you may have to configure receiver items in Betaflight which is a nightmare for beginners). Either battery size is perfectly fine for this drone. For a beginner I’d go with 650 only due to weight if you crash. Less weight, good chance of less damage.
