I agree that denying the devil exists, and claiming that it's okay to sin because of grace is wrong, very very evil infact, and spiritually damaging, but, when you talk of "loosing" salvation, are you implying that if we sin a certain amount, or in a certain way, or with a certain frequency, that we can loose our salvation? if so, isn't that salvation by works, that our own ritcheousness needs to be of a certain level to keep salvation? Because that seems to me very hard to justify biblically, there's certainly a very strong argument to be made, infact basically an unavoidable conclusion, that it effects both this life's sprirtual health, and the nexts rewards, but loosing salvation i think is a step much to far into works based salvation.

Thank you, Fr. Aldea. I, as a traditional Roman Catholic, find incredible wisdom and utility in your videos. I don't believe it is just me struggling with sanctity in these fallen days. We need a continued voice of reason to correct our paths, especially when it's becoming more and more easy to justify certain behaviors due to all the sin and disorder we are surrounded by. I want to especially thank you for your recent video about your beloved grandmother and your vision of "impossibility"... It has shifted my mindset and the result is that I am able to dust myself off when I fall and get back into the good fight with better agility... I will pray for you and I am sure you will continue to pray for us all. It seems God put certain messages before us, just when we need it the most... God bless you, Fr. Seraphim Aldea, from America!

Very, very true. Salvation is not a packet soup recipe where you just add water and stir and all is done. It is a lifelong process of sanctification, where God, as the Holy Ghost, gives us the necessary grace to grow up into the person that God created us to be, and to become, over time, acceptable in His sight. As St Paul tells us, we need to work out our salvation with fear and trembling, it's not a 30 second process where you simply confess in church to the others present that Christ is your Saviour, and that is it forever and ever, you can do what you want and you remain saved. Nonsense. Dangerous nonsense.

But that is what the bible says does it not?
      Romans 10:9-10
Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.
      Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
You will always sin, that's why Jesus died for us. He set us free from the law. You are saved through your faith not through your works. How is that compatible with what you are saying?

If there is either an Orthodox or Catholic church near/nearest where you live in your country, try to find a priest and ask for instructions on becoming Christian. Tell him you desire to become Christian. In the meantime, keep praying every day. Set aside time during the day, even if for 10 minutes (and gradually increase from there). Ask Jesus, even the Blessed Virgin Mary to help you. Do not give up, even while struggling with prayer. Try praying the Jesus prayer, “Lord Jesus, have mercy on me a poor and weak sinner “. Know that Jesus loves right now, even in your current situation!

Thank you so very much for exposing many of the lies and snares of the Evil One. In fact, that's exactly what he hates most--being exposed. And when we as Christians put up the good fight and live the Gospel through our actions and deeds, the devil has nowhere to hide and is most vulnerable. Faith without deeds is dead. Very well said, Father. God bless you.

This may be a weird way of expressing it but the evil one is so damn annoying! I mean, whenever my zeal for fasting and prayer increases, the snake pops out and tries to push me back. Every Single Time. It is sooooo damn annoying!

I was raised in a good well meaning and loving Protestant family and this message speaks to me greatly as the Protestant tradition in the UK seems to of forgotten about Satan. They concentrate on Christs love and salvation but avoid all talk of Satan and certain types of sin. I feel lost in my Protestant faith , totally crushed and defeated by my own sin and i feel like i am only seeing a very small part of the picture that God wants me to see , as if i am outside the room looking in. Are Protestants saved or am i as damned as i feel? I love Christ and want to be a good person so desperately. What do i do Father? please pray for me.

Amen, thank you father for talking about this topic. I had not even heard about once saved, always saved concept until I saw so many videos on youtube and people actually believing in this doctrine from the pit of hell. With God's grace I hope this video reaches thousands.

It is a Protestant doctrine which began in the Reformation by heretics such as Martin Luther and John Calvin and has millions of adherents to this very day.

Thanks, Father, for the reminder that Satan is not a red devil with horns and a tail. He is a very shrewd, persuasive logician, something like a lawyer, perhaps.

sometimes when the cevil wants you to sin and inhabit you its almost like you can feel his presence over the presence of God as he has free will to influence us. God gave the devil free will and this is why job was tested even when a righteous man free of almost all sin. when you dont care about sin you feel no presence of the devil but when your trying to be free and walk with jesus you will be tested every second of the day.

Brother i honor your wisdom and i apologize if i misunderstood.
you stated that the hope is that everything will be forgiven but it is my understanding that forgiveness is a free gift of God and salvation is obtained through this forgiveness which opens the door to it and once received cannot be lost unless you have been fooled that you have received salvation and i also believe that deeds are the side effect of salvation and not without deeds faith is dead as James stated.

God bless you my father, faith alone will not redeem our soul. Lord Jesus Christ told us to always pray with out ceasing, to fast, to love one another, to even love our enemies, because the fight will not be over till we unite with our Mercy full Lord.
My hope is lord almighty the most high, here I am by his unlimited grace and mercy, by the prayer of the mother of God st.Mary, by the prayer of the saints, by the prayer of you my father. By God's grace I will not stop fighting even if I am a horrible sinner, because those who hope in the lord will renew their strength.
My father remember me in your prayer.
Glory to the father and of the son and of the holy spirit forever and ever ✝️

Everyone wants to be in Heaven. Many think they are saved. Very few want to be saved and enter Heaven through Christ. With Christ
The tension of our salvation Christ demands is too uncomfortable for many. This discomfort turns to hate. ‘Just be a good person. That’s enough!’ God forgive us.
