- Cory Stevens runs a large sideline bee operation in Missouri breeding VSH (Varroa sensitive hygiene) bees. He sells virgins and artificially inseminated breeder queens.
Cory explained what VSH, SMR, and UBO mean. We also talk about the Stevens method of queen introduction as well reasons behind why it works. We discussed what a Harbo assay is and how to do it. If you are interested then here are the directions on how to do it www.harbobeeco... .
I am very thankful to Cory for him coming on, his RUclips channel @stevensbeeco767 and his website is www.stevensbee... . Please support Cory by buying his queens!

Yes, great people will be on in the future, I am very excited! I really enjoy doing the live streams.
Good job been following Cory’s work for awhile now
He seems to be truly making a difference in bee breeding.
Nicely done. I am in mid-coast Maine and have ordered 8 virgins from Corey. Looking forward to introducing them to my queen breeding.
I have four on the way as well. Should be very interesting to see how they do.
He does a great job.. but thinking you invented a new way of queen release after 10 000 years of beekeeping, with the number of beekeepers around the world today.. giving it your name.? It must be an American thing. I guess.. if a tree falls down in a rain forest and it wasn't filmed for YT.. did it really happened ? It's a common sickness between beekeepers. I'm watching it 50 years. We all think we're the best.
I'm not criticizing his work.. actually l think he does a great job and we need more young beeks doing it. But man, a New way.. these days.. really?
