The synergy stuff is great, but it can be dangerous. I got the Friedman HBE module and before I knew it I had convinced myself to buy a BE -100 Deluxe. Now it’s my favorite amp. Be careful out there everyone.
Synergy is the best tube based amplifier gear on the market. Now, if Steve would just upgrade the SYN2 to run two modules at the same time in a stereo configuration, I would be completely and totally satisfied with everything Synergy offers.
I've been using the Synergy for a few years now and it's one of the coolest pieces of gear ever. These modular preamps aren't really new, Egnater and Randall* had them back in the 2000s, but they only had the single channels. BTW, these Synergy modules will work in the Egnater and Randall, so if $is tight you can get a used Egnater or Randall. The caveat is that you can only use a single channel out of these modules if you run it into one of those.
One of these days I'm going to quite literally sell every other guitar amp and when someone walks in the room all they are going to see is a Synergy box.
I would play on some first. To me they have a tendency to all sound the same, just more or less gain. The gain structure sounds kind of all sounds the same
The modules are only the preamp sections. I think they match the original quite well in twrms of preamp but if you run them all in the same power amp and cab, they will have a lot of similarities.. But if you have a few cabs (or IRs) and/or use different power amps (or power amp sims) you get a lot of great tones for not too much money.
@@jcugnoni for me i just found it not worth it. $399 seems cheap, but when you add in everything else that is needed to use it.. you might as well buy the amp used. And again the sound was always very similar to each one. To each their on just wasn’t for me.
@@shredding51 Yeah 399 would be great if you could just plug straight into it. I could get a Peavey 1x12 and both Orange Micro heads for the same price.
I have the BE-BB module and it sounds already phenomenal.. And from your demo, this one sounds killer too.

Ive been interested in the Synergy for a while....

Totally agree!
If you have two SYN-1 docks, you can run stereo with the 5050 power amp. Sucks that the SYN-2 can’t do stereo.

Love it! I've got the BE module already and am deciding between this and the Überschall - this may have the edge now...
That full mix jam was delicious
Wow that full mix tone sounded great!
Solid riffage, Uncle Fluff.
That mid range and the high end brightness is, oh so tasty.
NAILED IT!
🤘🤘🤘
Sounds great man. Friedman doesn't miss.
The sound of your opening full mix just got Synergy a sale
Hey Fluff ! How do these synergy modules sound if used with IRs instead of real power amps ?
Nice, that sounds great. Riff at 1:40 = instant stank face 🤘
Hey Fluff!
What exactly is a “module”?
Damn! This kicks! I’m feeling the wrath!
You didn't explore the internal switches. 1 to change the gain structure and the other is a deep switch.
Watching this my eyes are drawn to that instrument cable. What is that? Sorry for my ignorance.
Its ok! Its called a Pivot-All I did a video for them just search the channel!

Is this the fluff signature guitar????
Ha I’m playing a Sweetwater 2022 exclusive color Sting Ray RS
@@RiffsAndBeards bummer. Can’t wait for the sig man!
So you’re telling me I can just fill my studio with a bunch of these 399 dollar amps?

@@shredding51 Figured it was too good to be true, back to watching 3,000 dollar heads on Reverb 😪

I watched the whole video, and still have no idea what I'm looking at. I'm a gear noob
This is just a preamp. So only the part of an amp where you dial in the tone and sound. I’m getting volume by using the power section of another amp.
@@RiffsAndBeards Thx broheim
Nice. I can't wait for the QC capture 😂👌🏻
