That’s the most badass base I’ve ever seen brother , I played and beat this game with my friends and we built a base around the tree and on the pond thing but yours is next lvl.
Laggen24x got some really good bases too if you are interested in more cool bases

Thats a dedicated homestead, I like how the lighting in each quarter is different, it feels like your walking into a completely different environment that's rooms apart, i did build to the beehive once buy using clover roofs from the castle in the pond, and the nectar that spawns in the hive is normal, in fact there used to be alot more of it since the space inside it was larger when it was under the picnic table
Thank you 😊 Yeah I like the fact that we can change the light colour, I wondered why that nectar was there lol.
@@Badwolfpg I feel like originally the beehive was gonna be used for something else during the game's beta when it was under the table, possible for a bee monarch so the nectar spawning inside the hive could've being a nod to how bees pollinate flowers and such and return to there hive, but it was scrapped so it was moved to the top of the tree where players wouldn't make much of it, but i guess that didn't stop you from making a amazing base from the old hive

You did such an amazing job building that. I recently started a beehive base for my wife up there. I just built a ladder straight up from the water though lol. It took 154 ladders to reach the hive.

Cool video. I'd like to see how you build your bounce web towers. I didn't know they still work.
The bounce web has one side that is a straight line, you position it so it sticks just slightly through the edge of the wall so that when your character touches the wall they shoot up. Place another platform about every 3 walls higher with another bounce web positioned the same way. Just do that over until you get to the desired height.

My buddy and I only have about 580 days in our world but we have a giant base in the tree in survival and a museum on top of the baseball where our first base was. Love this game.

Took me days just to make my ground base look pretty with ash walls or burr floors and stuff..
And despite that even if i were to use like different and easier resources...
The hight of this base scares with the amount of effort anyone will have to sacrifice 💀

I built my worlds base at the point where the physical tree stops. But yours is so much higher than that. I bet yours took a lot longer than mine even if it is a little smaller. Wow!

I didn´t noticed the hive since he was removed from the picnic table. But i need to say - I am really short (not only in the game lol), trees are important but don´t catched my interest of it in any way and I really don´t know why I should take a look so far to the sky :D Anyway, really cool to know that the hive still exists. Maybe with a future update, an easier way up and more space inside it could be useful for a bee queen because every hive has one isn´t it? maybe a new bossfight area.
Haha 😄, yeah we're all the same hight in that game....small lol, that would be really cool, would certainly make living up there a lot more interesting....and more stressful haha 😄

I just built me first ring around the oak, bout where you're initial level is. Took me ages as I only had just the 24 count pallets. Half way done. i realized I could also wear the ant armor + max haul strength and carry an extra arm load of planks up with the relocate. Idk why I'm doing this without the gnat. But you seem to be as well. So I can relish in your pain!
Now New Game +2 has teleporters. Can really hide that base if you can find something to build of of, maybe that beehive as the supporting member?

How do you change the lights?
My fucking aphid kept knocking me off my single wide ramp even when I put him in the pet house. Wouldn't leave me the hell alone. I had to put him down -.-
When I started building this only had the small Pallets too, As for not using the gnat I guess I like the challenge of trying to figure out how IM going to build it lol, What I found when I got up there is the beehive has no surface that you can build on Unfortunately, Haven't been raided so far so not sure if it's possible, As for changing the colour of the lights there should be a customise button depending on what platform you're on Then just move the sliders up-and-down, As for the aphid knocking you down I feel your pain LOL the worst in my opinion is the gnat especially when you're going through the hedge lab for the first time haha 😄
I can't even imagine how much time was spent building all of this lol

Damn im just a bit lower than that lol but i built at the top of the tree part where the graphics become fake walls basically so im partially in the tree, and created what looks like a portal door to get in lol

Okay so I’ve asked this question before, If say for question purposes he was playing in regular mild mode. If he started new game + would he keep everything he has built?
Yes you keep everything in your world that you have built, however there have been some people saying that they lost all their stuff, Which is a bug, so I would suggest making a hard save of your game just in case 🙂
Have you gotten mosquito or wasp raids up there? i would love to do this but i fear a simple raid will ruin all that work D:
I haven't been raided as of yet🙂 however its something I will definitely test lol 😀

You can use handy gnat in ng+ with out losing out on achievements
Yeah it's something I have considered just not sure as it might take the challenge out of building lol

I suppose that's the benefit of the handy gnat, you get to choose what you get from the game, you either use it or don't, its up to us 🙂
Or go into newgame+ and use handy gnat to save hours. Days even

A normal edible mushroom, with rotten food fertiliser, for green thumb chance.
I'm guessing it's out of reach to any raids?
Not tested it but it is something that i will try in the future.
can wasp or mosquito raids reach your base?
I'm not sure but I'll be sure to test it in a future video 😁
Can flying bugs raid your base still?
From my personal experience they can, although they have just released a patch for the update so maybe its changed.

I honestly don't know as i kept coming back to it, but given the acorns resporn every in game day, which I think is every 48 minutes, and i used a lot of acorn stairs, and a lot of other items, i would have to say it took me......a long time lol 😆

No raids aren't turned off, this is survival, I haven't been raided yet but something I'm going to test in a future video 😁

Not that I'm aware of but they do fly up there 🙂

Honestly never new it did, but I did find nectar up there while filming this video, so maybe 😁

The bee hive has always been there, but it Started at the picnic table then they moved it to the top of the oak tree, Which made it harder to see 😁.
