    Hi, thanks for this great review.
    I have some questions :)
    My lawn is about 200m but some areas are often quite wet even if it was not raining. Would it pose an issue? I'd like to avoid situation when grass was not picked up into the basket...

    • @TechIllusion-EN
      @TechIllusion-EN  7 месяцев назад

      @mihaubart Hello, thank you very much for the praise! :)
      The question probably can't be answered completely in general terms.
      On the one hand, I can say that the lawn mower doesn't have any major problems with slightly damp grass.
      However, if the grass is very high, dense and still damp, I can well imagine that this is a bit too much for the small lawn mower.
      After all, the lawn mower is not the most powerful with the single 18 V drive. I would probably recommend the 36 V version. A video on this is still in progress. :)
      Best regards

    Great info! My lawn is about 100m2 so this will be good enough for us and i get some more use out of my other makita batteries.

      Hello Mrcold07, i like this mower. And yes, me too have lots of batteries for my other makita tools. The best thing is that these batteries are sold for a long time. I am sure that you can buy these batteries for a long time. I had to throw away a stiga mower and a stiga leafblower because of the batteries died after4 years and they did not sell them anymore.

    I'm having problems with cuttings not being propelled to the rear of the bag. The tunnel becomes blocked with less than half of the bag being filled.

    • @TechIllusion-EN
      @TechIllusion-EN  3 месяца назад

      @JohnBlueman This problem actually only occurs when the power is insufficient, i.e. the batteries are almost empty, or the grass is very wet and therefore sticks quickly...🤔

    I like makita battery powered equipment. You can buy these 18v batteries for long times ( i own two 18v makita batteries who are 12 years old and still work! ) They still new equipment for thes batteries. I bougth this mower last year and i am happy with it. Its perfect for very small yards. I use the batteries that i also use for my makita tools. I had a leafblower and lawnmower from stiga. these batteries died after 4 years and they did not sell it anymore! New ones did not fit on the old stiga equipment. So be warned for this!

    Hei. Whats the difference between Makita DLM330 and Makita DLM330Z ?

    • @TechIllusion-EN
      @TechIllusion-EN  4 месяца назад +2

      @TCommando The letter at the very end of the product designation always only describes the scope of delivery. Z. In this case, this means that it is the solo version. Batteries and a charger are not included.
      If there is no letter at the very end, you should check more carefully. Because then it is not clear what is included in the scope of delivery.

    Hello! What is the capacity of your batteries and how many minutes does one battery last?

    • @TechIllusion-EN
      @TechIllusion-EN  6 месяцев назад

      @golishevskiy I would recommend a large 5 Ah battery. You can operate the device for several minutes with this. I cannot give an exact number of minutes as this depends on the height of the grass.
      On average, however, the 5 Ah battery should last up to 20 minutes.

      @ambroise9646 You're welcome! Thanks for the praise 😊👍🏼
      I can imagine that 400 m² could be possible with large batteries. Of course, if the grass is mulched, the battery life will continue to decrease

    What size garden would you say it would suit

    • @TechIllusion-EN
      @TechIllusion-EN  9 месяцев назад

      I would recommend the mower for areas up to 250m². Anything above that is still manageable but quite cumbersome. The mowing width is quite narrow and the collection basket has to be emptied constantly... :D

      @@TechIllusion-EN Sure, thank you. I have a question, if the price of a brand new DLM330 is same as a second hand DLM460 (used as a sample for demonstration). Which one should I pick?

    • @TechIllusion-EN
      @TechIllusion-EN  6 месяцев назад

      @samli6001 This depends entirely on how large the area is and how heavy the appliance can be. The small 330s have the clear advantage that the appliance is extremely small, handy and light. This means that the lawn mower can be moved and turned without much effort. The larger the machine, the more power it has, of course, but the heavier the lawn mower is. This means that the device is significantly more unwieldy and is more difficult to turn and move.
      Everyone has to assess this for themselves. Whether ease of handling is more important to you or the power and area coverage. 😊👍🏼

      I couldn’t get past the voice; get away from the “professional broadcast speaker”. Real person or not, the lack of inflection takes away from the content. It sounds like a commercial, and not an honest review of the product. I see enough commercials as it is; I want to watch content where the speaker and/or people involved add value by making the content interesting and believable.
