I have both the Ender 5 and Ender 5 Plus and they are great. My Ender 5 is fully upgraded but I need to do the same with the 5+. Glad that you like the Ender 5 and 5+ and that you make video about them. I am going along your suggestions in your videos.
Looking for my second printer now. Have an Ender 3 Pro with glass bed and EZABL and silent board. I love it. I am thinking of the 5 Plus to get more volume. Thanks for another great video. Have relied on your work heavily as I got started in 3d printing. Keep up the good work.
hey I am about to buy my first printer and I don't know if I should get a ender 5 plus or ender 3 v2... money doesn't matter but what would you recommend
I have the ender 5 pro and I'm having problems with printing the left side of the mando helmet 🤣 it's only printing the right side which I don't understand why lmfao
I have an Ender 5 and I love it. I was tempted to get an Ender 5 Plus, but was concerned I couldn't fit the printer in the space provided/wasn't sure I'd use the full bed. Now, thanks to this - I know I've got a great printer - but your measurements confirm I could've got the Plus! Ah well, these things :)
The Ender 5 Pro can be build with the spool holder facing the Y axis direction and then it is really MUCH smaller then the Ender 5 Plus. I had a 5 Pro before and now a 5 Plus and it requires so much more space! It does not fit on the sort of side-desk that is 60 cm deep and the 5 pro easily fit on it... So for now it is on the floor, a new desk is already planned before the E5P upgrade so then it will be fine again...
Great video. I have a suggestion to your Ender 5 Plus. You should flip your spool holder 180 degrees. As of now, if you run out of filament and your bed is halfway down you are not going to get the spool off to change. Unless you try to take screws out of the holder. It makes for a bigger footprint but, least you'll get your spool off.
If you measure the bed, prints and everything else in the 3D printing world in Centimeters and meters, it is weird to suddenly measure the size of the printer in Inches. At least put the converted amount in text on screen.
@@TheEdgeofTech moved from Milwaukee back in 2005, but did opening day ever year.from 1986-2002. My dad and I both have the same birthday in Early April so it bacame a tradition for us to celebrate with a few thousand of our closest friends at County Stadium and later Miller Park. My sister got married to one of the guys that designed and built the original Racing Sausage costumes so we would get tickets for tons of home games,.and I still go back for at least a few series a year. Live in Pittsburgh for last six years so it has been nice to have the Crew play in the same division and get to see them 10-12 times a year out at PNC Park now.
I love my ender 5 with lerdge board and direct drive with Bl touch and filament sensor and more. It’s a amazing machine and quick. And I have six machines.
Really liked the video, thanks! I think I am going to go with the Ender 5 Plus as I don't have the need right now for the big print surface, a year down the line I don't want to end up saying the famous words "aww crap should of got the other one".
Good mod for ender5 and 5 Pro is to rotate the spool holder so the bracket point forward (mount to front of post) and the roll hanger points out. Then it is not much wider then the control panel.
@@TheEdgeofTech I have now watch more of your videos and you have not talked about cable strain relief on the build plate for the 5 Plus that i have found yet even though you can see you have done it on the 5 Pro in this video.
Good comparison. I would be more interested in Ender 5 Plus vs. CR-10 Max .. especially as 5+ looks more solid "cage" style but it's actually cheaper here then CR10max. Not sure why.
Hi there! I'm considering the Ender 5 Plus because of the larger build plate. My reasoning is the bigger build plate allows me to build multiple parts for RC airplanes. I know the build time will be at least as long, but I don't really care about that. I'd loke to know how compatible this printer might be when using LW PLA. I've looked at maybe 10 different units including upgrading my Voxelab Aquila X2 with an Ender Extender kit. Seems that route will be more problems than it's worth. You advice would be greatly appreciated.
I loved my Ender 5 Plus and miss it for sure! It's a solid large volume printer and it should be fine with that filament. But if you are worried, you could always drop a direct drive extruder on it for good measure!
Definately have the E5 Plus on my some day list. I'd love to throw in an ezboard and ezabl so it would be a bit of a project machine but I don't have a large format printer as yet.
I hope you get to do it! I have an EZBoard coming, and it may end up in the Ender 5 Plus?! Not sure yet! I love project machines! haha Thanks for watching!
That single Z axis taking the weight of the bed seems like an engineers nightmare. Must put some stress on the brass bush and stepper. Looks like there's room to add another screw rod and stepper though I guess. Seems like a worthy upgrade.
You know, I really wanted the plus when I first saw it. I was a little frustrated with my modded ender 3 pro(I I'd the head, extruder, build plates, but the auto need really got on my nerves). But I purchased the LD200R, and am really loving it. The only thing missing is that build volume. For the amount of the 5 plus, as much as I may want it, I'm having a hard time justifying that, over a medium sized resin printer(maybe the Mars mid sized machine) The main thing I'd be printing are flower pots for my wife. That and I sort of miss octoprint. I will have keep holding on and see what time brings.
I really like my Ld0002r as well! Flower pots would go great on the Ender 5 plus! And I use OctoPrint on all of my printers including the Ender 5 Plus! If I remember right there is a network jack on the LD0002R And there could be a firmware flash to make it work!
Dude! Just found your channel and totally respect your knowledge. We are a family just getting into this and your videos have helped done! Is there anyway to do a comparison with the Ender 5+ and the Ender 3 Max?? Even if you don’t own both could you at least do a Side-by-side info comparison. Like I said we’re new to this but I’d rather buy once cry wants then by once and want the other one in six months. Grateful for your help common knowledge and enthusiasm!
I'm leaning toward the 5 plus, I have a 3 (modded to heck & back) but I want a bigger bed! The 3's bed is the same as the normal /pro, unless I want to go to their new CR line. Choices, choices.... I just wonder how much tinkering I really will have to do on the Plus.
The larger bed is very nice to have if you are going to use it! But, to be honest, it's so rare that I print anything larger than would fit on my Ender 3 or Ender 5 that I don't use the full size of the larger bed very often. It's always great to have it though! Also, you can get it dialed in pretty easily, but we both know it's the modding that is the most fun!! :) Thanks for watching!
What's the point of measuring the whole item with inches and than talking about the bed size in milimiters. Wouldn't it be better to just use the meteres whole time?
I've been using a Monoprice Select Mini, and I'm about to pull the pin on an Ender 5 Plus, after a metric ass-ton of research. Half the fun is the mods and the journey. I don't anticipate using the huge print surface all the time, but like car insurance and condoms, it's nice to know you've got them when you need them.
I already got two CR-10 printers. Ender 5 plus appeals to be because i feel I can close the sides around it easily to print ABS more effectively. I also like how the bed moves in Z and not Y. I am very inclined to sell both of my CR-10 printers to buy this one.
On my 1 year old ender 5 , Anyone know what causes control screen to start beeping and screen keeps changing all on its own??? not one video on this... its driving me nuts... printer was working perfect...i un did and reconnected all wires on harness ,but still continues to beep .. shut off and restarted 3-4 times and it does still print.... found a couple of videos, but no information on fixing it... any help is appreciated...
Great review, had to return a Flash Forge Creator Pro due to MB failure. My wife ordered that for me, I then chose the Ender 5 Pro as the plus was not available, I should get the 5 pro in a couple of days and now the plus is available. Was thinking about replacing the pro with the plus but after listening the the review I think I will keep the pro. Thanks!
I want help in making a decision, price is not the issue but ender 5 pro is too big and ender 3 pro is a bit smaller in print, just 2 inches, moreover do you think that dual Z axis ie independent z-axis on ender 5 is an advantage to ender 3 pros where the hotbed z-axis doesn't move in terms of quality and wear and tear?
Helpful video. I'm looking at a plus specifically for a project that requires 305x305, as while theoretically I could do it by abusing diagonals on the standard 5, I don't have a lot of confidence that what is a glorified floor tile will remain "on its side" through the entire printing process.
Looking into getting a big FDM printer. I own an Elegoo Mars resin printer, but want to get a bigger second printer that would make printing bigger D&D monsters not so complicated. I've looked at bigger resin printers, but they're over $2,000 and not as big as the 5 Plus.
Looking into these. Newbie here. I think I would like the larger one .... I don’t have any real opinion I just prefer that idea..... lots more videos to watch, reviews to read and amazon prime day is coming..... passed up an Ender 3 (not pro) for 277 Canadian which here is a great new deal ...used they seem to hold value and are upgraded but that doesn’t exactly interest me since these are so customizable I don’t want someone else’s ideal unit I want mine and the joy of building it up trial and error.. lots of errors
Great video! Definatly subbing! Im new to 3d printing still shopping at the moment and i think im leaning towards the 5 plus i want to print armor pieces(like halo) and want to do it in one print and not habe to glue. Im also looking to print D&D minis, i know i get better quality from resin but resin wont give me my cosplay option
Ender 5 pro... your videos got me from ender 3 to ender 5 and then from ender 5 to ender 5 pro. I won't be buying the plus version since it exceeds my needs and my budget. I'm looking to print stuff for home cockpits and this will be my first 3D printer 🙂 Thank you so much for making awesome videos and making it so much easier to decide which printer to go for. I can't thank you enough! Like'd and sub'd 😃👍
I'm looking to my second printer. My first one was an Ultimaker Original I'm almost convince to buy the Ender 5 Plus, mainly because the printing dimensions. But also I want to use specials filaments like carbon fiber. The Ender 5 Plus make good prints with this filaments?
Start with the Ender3V2 in my opinion, it has a glass bed and silent steppers. I have it and after some tweaking I've got superb print quality. I'm personally considering the 5+ but people complaint a lot about it being non user friendly.
What motherboard (old or new silent?), hotbed (glass or non-glass) and extruder (plastic or metal) did your 5 Plus come with? Some people say that theirs came with silent/glass/metal by default but others complain that theirs didn't. The official shop only mentions the glass hotbed, even though (at the same time) there's an article on the official website that compares all of the "Ender 5" models and according to that the Plus has all of the good upgrades. I'm confused...
@@TheEdgeofTech I found a website that says that it comes with all of the upgrades but it only linked to Creality's shop, so I contacted those: According to them it only comes with the glass plate but not with the metal hotend or silent motherboard. I also talked to the shop I ordered it from and they said the same thing (but they weren't 100% sure), so we'll see - still waiting for delivery.
Hi! It really depends on your budget and how big of a print area you need. If you are just doing minis and dnd stuff, you probably don't need a 5 Plus, Unless you plan on making some very large things. I would check out the Ender 3 V2. It's a great Printer for the money and it's got a decent build area. Would that be big enough?
I wonder that so many people are accepting to get scammed by those silent boards... just give the board to an electronic guy for swapping the stepper drivers and some smaller components... it just takes a few minutes to make the regular boards silent. Swapping the allegro drivers with trinamic 2208 drivers isn't that difficult.
E5+ best because large build volume and bed not moving, other differ only for electronic parts what can be replaced. Note that nuise is a common problem...
I really like my Ender 5 Plus! Both of them offer beds that just move up and down, and you are right the fans on the E5Plus are loud! I helped that by replacing one of them in a previous video. Thanks for watching!

i am getting ready to purchase an Ender-5 plus 3D printer. It says the bed is 350 MM x 350 MM, which is a little over 13 and 3/4". you said the Ender 5 bed was a little bigger than stated. Is the bed on Ender 5 plus a little bigger than stated? I am looking to make a template that would be 14" x 14". Thanks for you help.
I am looking to print cosplay gear and the bigger print surface on the Plus seems like a better idea. It will be my first printer. Is the Plus a good choice?
I just ordered the Ender 5 plus I have had the 3 pro for over a year but really wanted a larger format so I ordered it It wont fit where my other printers are but I will make it work
I think the Ender 5 will be my first 3D printer. I really don't need the larger build area for what I want to print. That would also leave some budget for upgrades like a direct drive and better hot end (not Micro Swiss by the way). I'd probably order a glass print bed, Capricorn tubing, and maybe a metal extruder if I didn't just go for a direct drive/high temp hot end right from the start.
I got the Ender 5 Pro, and got a plus coming. Am having some problems getting anything to print right after going with the micro swiss dd. getting a lot of stringing and plastic balls on the stuff I'm trying to print.
I own a ender 5 pro as well as the micro swiss DD. I fixed my stringing by using Retraction distance of 1.2 @ 25ms speed. See if this helps you. If Not, take the 1.2 retraction distance up to 5 and work from there. Good Luck. The DD system is great once you get it dialed in.
I'm looking into getting my first 3D printer. Is it worth waiting for the Ender 3 V2, or should I just buy the Ender 5? I can get both for about the same price here. I just want a no fuss plug-and-play machine.
That is a great question. I don't have an Ender 3 V2, yet, but one is coming! I love my Ender 5 machines and I think they are the best 3D Printer for starting out. But once I get the E3 V2 that may change. I think you will be happy with either one.
@@TheEdgeofTech Thanks for the answer! The same store offered a used Ender 3 with a 1 year warranty for $140, bought that. Got a paperweight with a ripped bed, clogged nozzle, and dust all over. Hello, im totally new to 3dprinting can you please recommend me which printer should i buy? 3,3pro or 5,5 pro? i want to print figures and mechanical locks and that sort of stuff. Thanks in advance for reply!
Hi! I really enjoyed your input on both of these printers. I'm currently looking to get my first 3D Printer, would probably settle with one of the later revision Ender 3:s if they were available right now, but unfortunately, they aren't and I really would like t to have a printer as soon as possible. The Ender 5 Pro is available at the European Creality store, so that's why I'm really looking into that option. I love the silent board on the printer, that's probably my most appreciated feature on these. My only concern at the moment is the size, I'm worried it won't fit in an IKEA Lack table enclosure I have planned. Would you mind taking an accurate measurement of the X-axis, not including the screen housings or filament holder and reel, I'm confident these can be modded and mounted elsewhere, so just the X-axis including stepper motor and belt pulleys. I would really appreciate the gesture! Thanks and keep up the great content!
@@YAOG I did! I drsided on the Ender 3 Pro, and bought the silent board separately. Definitely made a huge difference. I've been happy with the printer. Mostly only upgraded with printed parts, filament guides and rollers etc. Would definitely recommend one of these or one of the later revisions, depending on the price difference.
after watching your video I bought the 5 pro. I have to wait for the 15th of May. it seems I've bought the V2 version ?.. can you tell me if I need an upgrade for it ?.. or is the 5 pro ready to rock :-) .. you mentioned that you can ajust the bedsise to 235 bij 235 ?.. is that easy to do (in the printer settings, in octo-print) ?.. in your octoprint clib you mentioned the camera's, is that just a webcam you have laying aside or special ones ?.. sorry for all the questions but I want to be prepared when my pro comes :-) thanx again for your tip about buying the 5 instead of the 3.. via german side I bought my 5 pro for under $ 400,- :-)
Great choice! it will be ready to rock when you get it and you can always upgrade it later! When you setup your slicer, use the size of 235x235x300 for your printer size. You can use a webcam with Octoprint. Raspberry Pi also has a cam you can plug in and use. I hope that helps, and let me know if you need any help with the new printer! Thank you for watching!!
Thank You for this video. I saw the price on a website, but it does not explain how differences. I would like to have the option of printing larger pieces, and I liked the double Z. I want to print and then paint the big characters (Anime, Marvel, DC, etc.) So I liked the Ender 5 Plus, so I don't have to do the work of gluing parts together. But I live in Brazil and here is summer all year. Because of that I will have to print in ABS. PLA parts can melt. Is it better to use smaller parts to use ABS? I'm looking to choose a printer, can you make suggestions?
I'm not yet even new to this but I'm trying to embrace technology is as a way of making my current business profitable I am a self-employed landscaper I know grass and use some larger equipment there's equipment that I want that is crazy expensive I learned how to rebuild a transmission out of local University could I use the ender five pro to make metal parts what if I wanted to print or duplicate a hydraulic pump off of a commercial lawn mower is this possible sincerely a landscaper looking to find ways to make money save money when the grass doesn't need to be cut or when there's no snow on the ground
The Ender 5 Pro is just the Ender 5 with a Metal extruder, Capricorn Tube and a Silent Board. I would go with the E5 Pro if you are looking at a smaller printer. It's worth the upgrade over the E5!
🇳🇱🤪I am thinking of buying the plus, as the first 3d printer. this because they have a car bed leveling. I know you have to manually adjust the bed the first time. but after that (at least the 3d printer is not moved) every time you print first apply the bed leveling translate by google nl to eng
Why is it so hard for Creality to just make the silent board standard. I understand with the early stuff, but it's a common thing now. Also, the PLASTIC extruder that breaks on EVERYONE has got to GO!!!!!!!!!!!! It's this kind of stuff that makes me not want to buy anything Creality till they pull their head out of their ass.

- Bigtreetech 1.4 Turbo board
- Bigtreetech TFT35 screen
- E3D V6 hotend with titanium heat break (not sure which hotend will "survive" and will remain on the printer)
- Wham Bam build plate
- Moons 0.9 degree steppers for the X and Y axis

Now, thanks to this - I know I've got a great printer - but your measurements confirm I could've got the Plus! Ah well, these things :)
Now you know you can upgrade and it will still fit!! haha I am glad you love your Ender 5! Thanks for watching!
@@hound83I'm gonna try that! Thanks for the suggestion!!
Great comparison! Thank you!
Have been using a Flashforge Finder with a 15x15x15 cm build volume, thinking about buying the 5 plus used for 500$ because they cost 660$ new
If you measure the bed, prints and everything else in the 3D printing world in Centimeters and meters, it is weird to suddenly measure the size of the printer in Inches. At least put the converted amount in text on screen.
Not a bad Idea! Thanks for the recommendation! And thanks for watching!
@@TheEdgeofTech thanks, that will be appreciated by a lot of people!
Rocking the Brew Crew polo! Nice. Bernie would be proud.
For sure!! I miss baseball, and most of all the Brewers! This year would have been my 13th Opening Day in a row!
I mounted my spool holder on the Ender 5 so that it parallels the right side so it doesn't stick out. Never had any issue with it that set up.
I am going to have to try that!! Thanks for watching!
Same, never had a problem with it. Don’t know why people just don’t realize you can mount it that way.
The same, I mounted mine at 90 degrees from day 1, don't see why they would suggest it being mounted any other way to be honest.
Really liked the video, thanks! I think I am going to go with the Ender 5 Plus as I don't have the need right now for the big print surface, a year down the line I don't want to end up saying the famous words "aww crap should of got the other one".
Ender 5 plus vs cr10 max. Which is better?
Good mod for ender5 and 5 Pro is to rotate the spool holder so the bracket point forward (mount to front of post) and the roll hanger points out. Then it is not much wider then the control panel.
Ohh Nice!! I will try that.
@@TheEdgeofTech I have now watch more of your videos and you have not talked about cable strain relief on the build plate for the 5 Plus that i have found yet even though you can see you have done it on the 5 Pro in this video.
Great video, Jim. Thanks for the clear comparison.
Thanks Ben!!
Good comparison. I would be more interested in Ender 5 Plus vs. CR-10 Max .. especially as 5+ looks more solid "cage" style but it's actually cheaper here then CR10max. Not sure why.
I have a Ender 5 Plus. :) Upgraded Hotend, All Metal. Also printed modifed feed to take PTU easier. :)
I just ordered my first 3D printer, the ender 5. Now I need to watch some videos to see what I can do with it.
Awesome! I Hope you love it!
Did you do anything cool with it? Lol
Maybe you should decide what you want to do with it BEFORE you buy so you be sure it will do what you want .
Just sayin'
Super Video Jim I want a Ender5 Pro or Plus first because of the way they Print no moving bed except for up and down second because of Quality
Thanks! They are great printers and have awesome quality because of the mechanics!
Why not buying the DIY extender kit compared to this price for the smaller size?
Are you referring to the Ender 3 Extender kit?
@@TheEdgeofTech yes, But previously I didn't know the advantages of core xy machine, but now I know it 😂, I prefer to buy core xy type
Nice video. I seriously thought about getting the Ender 5 plus but decided to wait for the Prusa XL. I don’t have room for both at this time.
Nice! I am waiting to see what that will actually be. But I would love to have a Prusa Machine!
The 5 Plus size makes a big difference. The Ezboard and Ezable are really good upgrades well worth it.
That single Z axis taking the weight of the bed seems like an engineers nightmare. Must put some stress on the brass bush and stepper. Looks like there's room to add another screw rod and stepper though I guess. Seems like a worthy upgrade.
can you explain how a screen can limit what you can do on the printer?
@@TheEdgeofTech i didn't think there was an ethernet on it, bull I'll take a look. Thanks much!
I'm guessing you cant change the ender 5 so the spool sits along the side of the printer rather than having it stick out?
Actually I think I'm have seen some mods that do that!
@@TheEdgeofTech 3d print a mount :D
Can you show me the build quality of the products these machines are able to produce ? Definitely need that in a review... peace
That could be a great idea to enclose it! Let me know if you do that! Thanks for watching!!
I am a noob to 3-D printers what is thermal run away
On my 1 year old ender 5 , Anyone know what causes control screen to start beeping and screen keeps changing all on its own??? not one video on this... its driving me nuts... printer was working perfect...i un did and reconnected all wires on harness ,but still continues to beep .. shut off and restarted 3-4 times and it does still print.... found a couple of videos, but no information on fixing it... any help is appreciated...
With the Ender 5 Plus, what is the spacing for the rubber feet under the printer?? That is the only critical measurement I have.
Thanks!
Good choice! Thanks for watching!!
Ender 5 Pro or Ender 3 V2 ? newbie here
Good info, thanks Jim!
Thanks Thierry!!
Is it worth getting a 5 pro just for that metal nozzle? Is it a part that is likely to break if I stick the 5s stock plastic one?
You can easily upgrade the extruder and ptfe tubing to make it a pro.
Last of the Cartesian printers. Core, Cro or H is the future.
It could be for sure!
It's interesting reviev, thank you
Looking into these.
Can a dual Z rod be installed on the ender 5, like the ender 5 plus
Ender 5 pro... your videos got me from ender 3 to ender 5 and then from ender 5 to ender 5 pro. I won't be buying the plus version since it exceeds my needs and my budget. I'm looking to print stuff for home cockpits and this will be my first 3D printer 🙂
Thank you so much for making awesome videos and making it so much easier to decide which printer to go for.
I can't thank you enough!

Is the ender 5 plus your recommended printer for a first timer large format printer (300+) or would you recommend a different brand/model?
I really like the Ender 5 Plus, it's a great printer if you put a little love into it. Check out my Ender 5 Plus playlist to see what I did.
Why are the touch screens limiting compared to the knobs style?
I'm looking to my second printer. My first one was an Ultimaker Original
I'm almost convince to buy the Ender 5 Plus, mainly because the printing dimensions. But also I want to use specials filaments like carbon fiber. The Ender 5 Plus make good prints with this filaments?
nice video, well done and very professional
I'm thinking of getting my first 3D printer, I'm looking at the Ender 5 and the Ender 3V2, which one would you recommend?
Start with the Ender3V2 in my opinion, it has a glass bed and silent steppers. I have it and after some tweaking I've got superb print quality. I'm personally considering the 5+ but people complaint a lot about it being non user friendly.
Either one would be great. The V2 is a great printer!
Great advice and points!
Thank you!
The newer Plus comes with Glass, Silent board and meanwell psu I believe.
Looking for a first printer. Looking at the plus or a 10s . Mainly for minis and dnd stuff. Can you educate me on which is better for my needs?
I agree that most could be done in person. But most people can't do it or don't know how. It's easier to buy a new board!
@@TheEdgeofTech I had a Ender 5 pro too and could sell it for even more then i bought it and then upgraded it to an Ender 5 Plus.
I would say the fans on the 5P are indeed loud, but that noise is always the same. For me the standard stepper drivers on the stock board drive me nuts! Such a loud and irritating constantly changing noise.
I am currently upgrading the heck out off it and it will be great(er/est)!
Currently installed upgrades:
- Micro Swiss hotend with hardened nozzle
- Moons 34mm 0.9 degrees stepper motor for the extruder
- BMG extruder
- Meanwell 550W powersupply (required some drilling)
- Replaced the really noise AF fan inside the electronic box for a 60 mm fan that is dead silent (also required some drilling and Dremel action)
Upgrades still on their way or already delivered:
- Bigtreetech 1.4 Turbo board
- Bigtreetech TFT35 screen
- E3D V6 hotend with titanium heat break (not sure which hotend will "survive" and will remain on the printer)
- Wham Bam build plate
- Moons 0.9 degree steppers for the X and Y axis
- LDO 0.9 degree steppers for the Z axis
- MDD hot end carriage for direct drive printing
- Linear rails + adapters
- 5015 fans for hotend + part cooling (also have some super silent 80mm fans, but dont think i can really come up with a good chassis mounted solution for those with adequate coverage across the bed)
Looking at this list i think this whole COVID19 lockdown is causing a bit of an upgrading spree on my Ender 5 Plus
What does auto bed leveling do does it level the bed for you or do you still have to do it
can ender-5 plus print with pc (polocarbone) filament?
Love my 5 Pro, was BD present, 3 weeks ago. already ran out of Filament and Covid-19 is not helping with re-supply at the moment. 5+ is def down the line for me. Upgrades on the way for my 5Pro... E3D V6Hot End + Titan Extruder, already have the SKR 1.2 E3 mini board waiting to go in.

Try upgrading to a Capricorn tube. Had similar issues and then went away after I upgraded. Smoother feeding I guess

I think the factory firmware does, yes.
Thanks and keep up the great content!

thanx again for your tip about buying the 5 instead of the 3.. via german side I bought my 5 pro for under $ 400,- :-)

Can the Ender 5 Plus print aluminium?
Thank You for this video. I saw the price on a website, but it does not explain how differences.
I would like to have the option of printing larger pieces, and I liked the double Z.
I want to print and then paint the big characters (Anime, Marvel, DC, etc.)
So I liked the Ender 5 Plus, so I don't have to do the work of gluing parts together.
But I live in Brazil and here is summer all year.
Because of that I will have to print in ABS. PLA parts can melt.
Is it better to use smaller parts to use ABS?

ender 5 plus vs ender 5 pro ?
The Ender 5 Pro is just the Ender 5 with a Metal extruder, Capricorn Tube and a Silent Board. I would go with the E5 Pro if you are looking at a smaller printer. It's worth the upgrade over the E5!
EZFlex2 - Ender 5 Plus, do you buy the 370x376 size? Anything under, is a lot smaller. I presume this size works as shown in the video?
Ya! That's the correct size! I love that upgrade, and I am hoping they get them back into stock soon!
I subbed within 10 sec after clicking the play button....
Just flash Klipper right off the hop. 😁
And replace the nozzle w/ a TH3D 0.6 or 0.8 for the big one.
I will choose 5 plus since i already have 3 pro.

well. i guess i need a bigger table. D:
Why is it so hard for Creality to just make the silent board standard. I understand with the early stuff, but it's a common thing now. Also, the PLASTIC extruder that breaks on EVERYONE has got to GO!!!!!!!!!!!! It's this kind of stuff that makes me not want to buy anything Creality till they pull their head out of their ass.
