Love the new intro and the jacket. Like all brands owned by huge consortiums the original dna of TF is being diluted as ideas run dry but new product is needed to keep their profile on point.

I really enjoy TF fragrances. I've been using it well over a decade and come back time to time. However, they're not what they used to be, that's for sure. I'd even say the Signature line is more impressive now. Black Orchid Parfum, Noir Extreme, Beau de Jour, etc..

I agree Clemence, it seems like we lost Tom Ford a long time ago. Although, it should be said that Estee Lauder was a part of the Tom Ford brand from the beginning. Still, it seems like they just phone it in now and that is unfortunate. People seem to be impressed with Beau de Jour, Black Orchid Parfum, and whatever the heck his fruit series is. 👎🏼

When I sampled rose de amalfi, I felt like I have smelled that powdery element in other perfumes such as Chloe. But when I smelled rose de russie, I fell in love with the darkness. But mostly because the leather in that reminded me the leather in Chanel cuir de russie. Obviously TF is rose with leather, but something about the dark, sharp leather
Rose de Russie, au premier essai, je l’ai trouvé catastrophique, le poivre poussé à fond, avec des risques de maux de tête derrière. Je me suis accroché, je l’ai testé une nouvelle fois, et là je le porte depuis deux jours, et au final je trouve que c’est une très belle rose pour un homme. Belle tenue, pas trop de projection (donc compatible pour une journée de travail), très classe, loin du parfum sombre et cuiré auquel je m’attendais. Vraiment envie de tester les deux autres, sachant que j’apprécie beaucoup Rose Prick aussi (et TF en général)

I used to be really attracted to Tom Ford fragrances. Their marketing, the bottles and the names of the fragrances. Onfortunately for me the fragrances themselves have just been underwealming smell wise and not that great longevity for the price. Last week I smelled all the rose fragrances and was just … eh… and moved on to the niche departement. Tom Ford had nice stuff for sure, but I dont think the niche pricing is motivated. Haven’t smelt these yet Clémence. Tom Ford has become a Hit and Miss brand for me over the years. Unfortunately my love of Tom Ford is declining now days. I think Tom Ford of old as long gone, which is very sad for us all.
I've tried them all at Selfridges over the weekend. I was very disappointed and I love rose fragrances. I own Eau Capitale Diptyque, Stella by Stella MacCartney and my new favorite YSL Rouge Velours.By the way, what do you think about YSL Rouge Velours? I know that your favorite is Tuxedo but would be be able to review the Le Vestiaire collection in the future? I think that they are very interesting, they smell expensive and classy, but no one talks about them on youtube. It seem like all youtubers love BDK's Rouge Smoking, Pas Ce Soir which to me, they smell super sweet and cheap but they are greatly overpriced.
Ah my bad! I heard from a friend working at the brand that there has been a change in the creative direction involving Lauder more but I might be wrong !
