- Daddy Dave entered the prostreet class in the Midwest promod series held at tulsa, Oklahoma this past weekend. Dave went into full savage mode racking up good times and epic race wins along the way. He did managed to qualify number one and ultimately win the class over the weekend. Daddy Dave is always in savage mode when he’s behind the wheel. Every time you see him driving whatever he takes it past all the others like it’s nothing. He’s by far a very underrated driver and that’s not brought up enough. Dave is a beast !

Fernando Martinez not just out of the 405, Daddy Dave is by far one of the best drivers on this planet. The man drives the wheels off of everything he drives and does it like he was born with that steering wheel in his hand.

Daddy Dave had the "hold my beer" tune on that 1st pass. An a 191 on the last one. He has always been one of the best drivers.
Dave has definitely proved time and time again that he is one of the all time best, been to the top of the list in so many different cars and in the history of the show not only has he been first in the most different vehicles but also the only person to get to # 1 with a stick shift (Plan B with his motor after he crashed goliath 1.0) even came in second in Cash days in that car only barley getting edged out by kye at the end

I see some mention of the Murder Nova there doing some track time, I saw where he was running some 4.0s, 4.04 on one pass at least the track had posted, he's cooking too, love it.
Yeah the last time I seen murder nova go a ET 4.02. that's very fast and especially for a small block

Well that first race against that Malibu that Malibu was on small tires and that GTO has steel body panels everywhere except the front clip is steel on that car and Daddy Dave and Muder Nova go Pro-Mod racing all the time plus a few other No Prep racers as well and yes they do qualify for the field but mostly towards the bottom because true Pro-Mods are lighter and are allowed to run a full carbon fiber composite body where as the No Prep cars are not they have to have a steel roof and quarters unless the car comes factory otherwise that was why Reaper was kicked off the list with his O.G. car and Pro Mods can have an extended wheelbase and I'm not sure on the Minimum weight a Pro Mod can be but I do know that a turbo No Prep car has to weight no less than almost 2,700lbs that is the main reason alot of guys went to Procharger this year in No Prep and a turbo car in No Prep can't run a lock up converter and I do believe a single turbo car can weigh less than a twin turbo car and that is why alot of people switched to a big single turbo but yes Dave is a Bad Ass driver and has a Bad Ass car and Big Chief from time to time will take the engine out of his black car and put it over in his white Pro Mod and go Pro Mod racing the same thing with Jeff Lutz from time to time he'll break out Mad Max his black Camaro Pro Mod so yes alot of them go Pro Mod racing from time to time but these Pro Mods go as fast as a 3.60 something pass at best and RvW cars have been mid 3.50s in the 1/8th at 200+ there is like almost 10 cars in RvW that are running mid to low 3.50s and the two fastest are blown Hemi's

And yet these street outlaw guys are scared of Steve fast Jackson cause he smokes their lame ass.
He was running in the pro street class which had like 4 cars in it, he was not running against pro mods. Street racer not grudge thats why he showed his times. They all know the power almost all the top cars have and that they wont be able to use it all so running on a prepped track and showing your time isnt really showing your hand.
That car thinks its a plane. But thats ok captin daddy dave can wrestle that monster down the line.🚀💪

I'd actually rather watch this than most of the NHRA Pro Mod series. The cars have more character. Pro Mod was better when it first started out in IHRA IMO. The Wild Bunch were the predecessors of both Pro Mod and this type of racing. Got to see them race too. Miss those days.
