I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on using a call that's a different style (looks similar to a duck call lol) and has a lot higher pitch than what you've shown in your video and it is also quite loud... what should I be doing and not doing with it? Do I choke off bleats like you show in the video?

How effective is a distressed fawn call at cold calling?
Pretty effective.I have used it with my voice and with fawn in distress calls.Motherly instinct is strong in whitails.

i dont believe so i highly recommenced a antler rattle for fallow never hunted sika
Calling deer is one of the most important things in being successful. I've killed almost 80 deer with a bow over 9 hunting seasons and most of them answered my calls. Having learned the language and hearing them in the field and woods, I've been disappointed by most of the calls on the market. Some only mimic the sound when they are new and then fall short once the call is broken in. The audio in this video is the closest I've heard to a real deer (matching the True Talker) that I've heard. I hope it keeps the sound. I'll try it.
