Me on a school trip in Italy. We came out of a restaurant, completely stuffed, when I asked what were eating now.

I was looking around and said " there are giant ice-cream cones. One ice-cream scoop was about the size of my fist. I asked for 2 scoops. Pistachio and hazelnut. My classmates looked at me like a eldritch horror.

I’m a bartender at a fancy restaurant and I recently came up with a handful of drinks for our Autumn cocktail menu. One of the drinks ended up being named a Frosty Morning, it’s made with a local gin flavored with hazelnuts, plum bitters, and a bit of honey. It’s served over ice with tonic. And now I want to come up with drinks named after the other three characters 😂
That sounds like it would be so much fun, you should absolutely do that!

I had some time at work tonight so I put all these together. I modified the Frosty Mornings recipe so it felt more thematic. If anyone tries them out I’d love to know what you think!
Frosty Morning-
- 1.5 oz gin
- 0.5 oz Liquor 43 (Citrus+herb liqueur)
-0.5 oz honey
Shake with ice, strain over fresh ice, top with tonic and garnish with rosemary sprig
Kremy LaCroux-jito
-2 oz white rum
-1.5 oz lime juice
-.75 oz simple syrup
-5 mint leaves
Wash a tall glass with absinthe, muddle mint leaves with simple syrup, add rum and lime, shake with ice, pour directly into glass, top with soda water, garnish with Bordeaux cherry
Gricko’s Green Goblin
-1.5 oz vodka
-0.5 oz Green Chartreuse
-1 oz lime juice
-Simple syrup to taste
Shake with ice, pour into glass, top with soda water, garnish with lime wheel
Gideon’s Gut Punch
-1 oz each of Ancho Reyes Chile liqueur, Chambord (raspberry liqueur), lemon juice, grenadine
Shake with ice, strain over fresh ice, garnish with maraschino cherry

I've also been in a couple wrecks myself, 3 if you count the deer. Luckily, nobody had any injuries (outside of a light scratch on the knee). Yours sounds a lot more serious than mine, so I'm glad you're ok! Though I'm sure my first wreck looked almost as bad as yours was. Almost, because none flipped, it was just a straight front impact. But it did total both vehicles. Woops, I made a whole long paragraph again!
I like the intro rhyme. How each one is a "toy" meant to save the arch fey.
And did you notice the descriptions of Prismeer's corruption? Blight of hither, night shade thither, moon grave creeping yon? Every word written is absolutely gorgeous
Which "toy" is each one specifically? I think Gricko is the toy of wood and Gideon the one of metal, I have more doubts about the other two though.

I am relatively newer to playing D&D but I will say that not every game would be like this. From what little campaigns I've been in I haven't been in one where it's like this or other ones where you watch them goof around and things like that. It's surprisingly difficult to find, at least for me.

I remember the custard damage when my friends and I gave this campaign a whirl, I was the winner with my satyr fighter, never failed a roll and made a mockery of the goliath barbarian in the team who choked on his first cupcake, it was my proudest moment in that campaign
Still waiting for them to meet one or two carnies formally employed at their carnival but now working here. Also Gricko went all in on those cupcakes, eyes on the prize.

As a dm the huge lists that Nikki is able to list off without a second thought is astounding. Probably one of my favorite parts about this episode
When Kremy became insatiably hungry he should have re-entered the Fairycake eating contest.
It took me until the third episode in my binge to realize that the rhyme in the opening is tied to the characters and villains

I ran the cupcake game for a higher level party where the custard damage hit for 1d6 Constitution instead of HP. It featured an enemy party and lots of cheating - i.e. sprinkling pepper flakes on cupcakes, throwing extra cakes in a creature's mouth as it tried to eat one, and it was very silly. The Ability score change keeps it tense, while letting the players come up with ways to influence the outcome gives them agency over when others fail. Since it was a team format, the goal was more about beating them as opposed to a last man standing. Love what Nikkie did here.
The funniest part to me is that for most of this campaign, I visually imagine every other member of the gang as the character they are portraying, but whenever frost is doing something, all I can image is Derek as a human, sitting in a swamp, yelling at a goblin about his "f*cking legs, Gricko"
Only you guys can go on for 3 minutes about sauces and it still makes sense with the story 🤣🤣 you guys have by far became my favorite group to listen to when I'm doing anything
Cupcake contest had me dying, especially “I’m pretty sure the first loser was that kid” at 1:02:43. Laughed way more than I should’ve 😂

I love how all of Frost's fey curses after the twists of fate are just SO similar to common sensory issues/random freaky feelings. It makes so much sense to his character that he would have those problems lmao

i dont think you understand how unprepared i was. when they were talking about how gricko passed out with his eyes glued open. I literally had just taken a MASSIVE gulp of my morning coffee. i have never done a spit take in my life until that moment. i inhaled some of it which didnt help. the rest of it went all of my desk, gaming mat, keyboard, monitor, xbox and even made a decently sized puddle on the floor. i spent 20 minutes coughing up the coffee in my lungs which of course meant everything tasted like coffee that whole time.

So I found the Chuckles the Clown shorts just by chance on YT a few weeks ago and now I’m so hooked on your guys’d channel. I’ve never played D&D before, I’ve always wanted to try though😀. I really love all the characters, but something about Frost’s kinda dry sense of humor is just hilarious to me. I love Nikki’s laugh, it’s so contagious to me. I love that there is so much content to catch up on here and that I’ll get to learn more about the game and everyone and their characters. You can tell Y’all have a camaraderie that is so special.

I found this campaign because of a random chuckles clip that showed up in my shorts. Decided to give it a shot since I love me some DnD. Slogged through the first half of the first episode because I'm always wishy washy on new campaigns. Finished episode one 2 weeks ago, decided to listen to episode 2 yesterday, and now I'm hooked. Keep up the great work, guys! I'm absolutely enthralled by the group dynamic and Gricko gives me life. 10/10

Okay I don't know if Kremy is a crocodile or an alligator but Frost and Gideon ate alligator meat and Kremy just brushed it off like it was nothing???
Also, the stick was told to have have almost any possible meat... Frost is an animal, a tiger so there could have been tiger meat on the stick...
