    You would think the SM7B would be good for ASMR considering its best when up close, but oh well.

      I was also super surprised, running the camera all the way up it still wasn't loud enough, I had to crank it quite a bit in post too. For the actual speaking it sounded pretty good though, but not $100 better than the NT1000

      @tim_floyd That makes sense. I guess the real question then is why aren't more podcasters using Condenser mics?

      yeah dynamic mics arent really built for asmr lol

      @@TingleTriggers for the sure sm7b to be better you need a scarlet and a cloudlifter and also it’s not for asmr

    Did you use something like a cloudlifter?

      Nope, both of these are just out of the box straight into my Sony FX6.
