It‘s just so funny that I know you from my tiktok fy page with all the swiftie / Maisie Peters content and now I‘m seeing you on RUclips too! I‘m gonna be at Lancaster University from September to December as an international student this year and rn I’m looking for all the tipps 😅
Love hearing the differences and similarities between US and UK colleges. My first college was a private engineering school and getting a roommate scared me the most. I ended up having a single connected room and we had a shower room for our entire unit. So it was nice being able to keep the connecting door closed to have privacy. After my first year in the dorm I moved into a fraternity house, and that, my friend, was a much different living experience! 😂😂
Thank you! The weather varies really with the coldest being -1 to about 2 degrees Celsius in the winter time. There can be snow some years but there is a lot of rain! Just make sure you have a warm coat and an umbrella and you should be okay!
this is late but the hottest it normally gets is around 30 degrees celcius, a few years ago it reached i think 38 degrees and they made it optional to come to school (although my parents still made me go ahha) but thats the hottest its been in a long while. doesnt get very hot over here
There’s a few requirements to get a parking permit for campus, there’s some info here: www.lancaster.ac.uk/sustainability/action/travel/parking/student-parking/
hello, I just received my unconditional letter from lancaster , just want to know if it's worth studying in lancaster for a huge fees, and also is it best to stay in hostel or outside university

How do I get a parking permit for my car? And do they let you park your car outside your accommodation and drive around to where you need to be?

It's best to stay in university or student accommodation rather than a hostel. It depends what you want to study and where Lancaster ranks for that :)
are hair straightener and hair dryer allowed? and do you know any international students who stayed in these accomodations??
Do you know if you can bring a TV/monitor into your rooms?
