The Secret Difficulty In Block Tales | Part 1 of Hardmode+ Run [Block Tales Roblox]

- A new run in a new update on a new file with a new difficulty with new cards. What could go wrong?
In this Hardmode+ series, I attempt to beat the game using all hardmode cards. This has since been dubbed Hardmode+ (alternatively Hell, Masochist or whatever) by the community.
To get all of the hardmode cards, go to Bizville and find that one weird guy hiding in a corner on the right. He will sell you all 4 cards for 1 tix individually. If you use all cards except Thick Skull, your stats are:
4x DMG taken, No Superguard, Halved guard window twice, and 90% more EXP.
No specific level was achieved in this video. This is a completely new file done just for da newbie immersion

I love how on the Red & Blue fight, you sped it up and it looked so dang smooth for the animations.
unfortunately the audio completely corrupted at that time so i had to speed it up with some gracie grace, but i did notice the smoothness too lol

(it was a hell of a ride, if they do a badge where you complete pit with hard mode is going to be impossible ngl tho)

not really, the only option on obtaining the card in the vending machine is shrinking and dash into the vending machine (there's an entrance to it)

I'm fairly sure they patch that too I can't test it because I already have the card and no I'm not starting a new file

Things i learned in this video:
Red and blue got new attacks
BLUE IS A WOMAN?

Also they now get buffed (+2 damage) after the other dies
And finnaly i can tell enemies to go back to the kitchen

After doing (most) of a hard+ run myself, i do want to say a few things for this challenge:
1: Health is very valuable, since it allows you to actually make mistakes in chapter 1, and exist in chapter 2. For my run I went for health almost every time. The only times i didn't was right as I was about to get health+, and once randomly during chapter 2, where I went for BP instead. Because of this, i could take even fully unblocked attacks from every boss (except cruel king because freeze hits incredibly hard for how low level you are, thank god that attack isn't that bad to block) and it let me get way more value out of any healing items i brought.
2: Your item inventory might be more important than your card setup, since the healing is NECESSARY for this type of run. Even more so for the bosses, since they have large health bars and attacks that deal more damage than the already insanely high damage of normal enemies. You might also want to save some big items for the end of chapter bosses as well, those guys are insanely hard to beat.
3: You will need a strategy for almost every boss. Most of them have something that has to be played around using a good strategy with turns planned ahead of time. Ball is GREAT at this, due to having good damage abilities that apply loads of status effects, although ball isn't optimal on all bosses. Mostly just depends on the boss. (unless that boss is named supreme ant, they are kind of a joke even on this insane difficulty)
4: Every boss is possible solo. It might not seem like it, but due to how strong some items can be and the fact that a very specific boss has a fire weakness, it is 100% possible to beat them all solo. A lot of bosses are actually easier as well solo, due to either multi-target attacks or allowing you to prepare much more easily. Do not mistake 'possible' for easy though, you will have to learn those block timings and be extremely prepared.
5: This challenge can actually be quite fun, although some fights may make you want to cry (chapter end bosses). For anyone looking in the comments, I would actually recommend trying this. (Only if you have already beaten hard solo before though, since you will need the practice from that)

(also who knows that you can knock over helmet noob by throwing a ball at them)

@@thatonedude920 abuse the absolute hell out of snowball, also i dont think i had actually beaten supreme mosquito by the time i posted this but i have now
Tip: Make sure to target the strongest, weakests are for the Bomb, targetting strongest means you have a less chance of losing heavily

My build was lucky start happy sp happy hp item+ super guard and fireball
If you get sp Regen from lucky start guard turn 1 then fireball and dynamite
If you get the invincibility thing turn 1 fireball him then coffee reapply fire spam dynamite
If you get the hp Regen turn 1 fireball then coffee and reapply fire when u can
Whenever cruel king summons use snow storm
The entire battle ends up being a dps race for you killing cruel king before his unavoidable damage catches you

Seeing how coop is allowed this is gonna end up with a 4 player resurrect spam cheese and im not looking forward for that
Btw small tip do not underestimate fireball if you account for the fire damage it does as much damage as dynamite for just 2 sp
Appreciate your concern, i‘m obviously not gonna cheese the run as it‘ll obviously ruin the point of Hardmode+ and it‘s very unlikely that i‘ll even gather more people for the challenge in the first place

Since you have 10 HP, if you use thick skull you’re gonna have to remove gusto cause some attacks in demo 2 are impossible to survive without dodging them with double damage
I saw someone using training wheels in Griefer on hardmode+ and the sign never appeared lol
@@Guest_360the cue doesnt pop up in HM+ because Traning wheels is mostly for greats and gusto disables superguarding and thrillseeker lowers it to the point its barley visible
It legit hurts to see you not target red first, probably the best strategy

@@survmixa6423 nah, it‘s unfortunately a common bug with my recorder where the audio sometimes starts to corrupt to the point that it either sounds choppy or incredibly bass boosted

Here's some tips you could have done:
* Sleeping in Terry's bed restores your HP and SP
* Try to priotize attacking Red Noob, because Blue Noob only gains +1 damage, when Red is down, while Red gains +2 damage.
* You can flee.
This is definitely the hardest challenge in Block Tales. Winning this just proves your a Sweat.
the thick skull card makes it impossible im not gonna lie, imagine battling bubonic plant with 10 hp and 5 sp (and 3 bp)
The strategy i used to beat red and blue was to first equip item+ then in the battle first use your ball on red and then defend/pass, then you perfectly block red & blue’s both attacks and finally on your second turn use 2 bombs. Worked very well! You def couldve done that instead :D

I did this challenge couple days ago, my god blue and red took me ages to beat and the cruel king fight is just torture
11 damage on that superball toss is crazy
if you want to beat red n blue first attempt u will need 3-4 bombs and 1 burger.
after first bomb u heal with burger and continue to bomb them, you will also need lvl 1 for hp

Also if you haven't know, pass will restore super points (SP) Just like defend, but instand of defending, you'll pass it.

thankfully, there's nothing that changes your attacks from the hardmode cards
I thought i had this idea and wanted to see if someone else did it lol. Coincidentally, im at the same part as you stopped in this video. Im doing it solo.
You could’ve bought enough bombs at the very start of the game on the left of the Hotel. They rose the price from 10 to 25 so you would only be able to buy 2 bombs with your starter money ($50) but if you kept farming the nooblets in the HQ, you should be able to get another bomb to easily finish blue and red.

Been trying this with Thick Skull on but I don't see how Cruel King is possible😔
Cruel King will break me mentally I thought statue was impossible with Thick Skull on but it was possible so there HAS to be a way to BEAT cruel king PLEASE GAME

@@Exerium0 i didn't need rng for my run; 4 sharks, 3 seahorses, 2 brownies and 1 bomb to help me finish the king off before he could act
the hard part was landing every single block but i eliminated pretty much every rng factor

An answer for strident the reason red and blue aren’t at full hp is because of the battle with the player they had to flee but they didn’t fully heal when the player got attacked by all three of them that’s why and hope this helps

Im trying to do this challenge rn, i went solo until red and Blue and then recruted someone until cruel King.
At this point Im farming free ice for perma stuns on boss.

Red and blue maybe the hardest early boss, because how dmg both can deal in .... just 1 turn without HP upgrade and even def+ (if you cant block it)

Guys i got lots of hours in blox tales but I can never hit a linebounce thats more than the 2 enemies i hit, and enemies have different hitboxes on where the ball lands, pls give tutorial, i am so bad at linebounce but can do ante up more often than this....
Thick skull is not impossible, I managed to beat cruel king with every difficulty card including thick skull, its very difficult but possible.
How do you go back in actions when fighting when your not using mouse?
example:choosing which enemy to throw dynamite at and going back without pressing the red arrow button with cursor

Dodge, or die
You shouldve bought defender instead of defend+ because theres a damage floor of 1 which youre always at with ball in the prologue pretty much so you could immediately equip it and then get extra health with the level up
Pro tip: Kill red first, blue deals less damage and is easier to counter.

Palace is a new thing if if it's your second turn instead of guarding again you going to pass which does not let you block cuz usually either in the beginning or send enemies you always get two turns the first turn you go the second turn you go after they attack
I've seen videos or people doing it with thick skull but I don't recommend it if you want to have some resemblance of fun
since when did they add the pit noobs to the meadow? I’ve only seen helmet noob in demo 2 at the rainforest and plainsville
1:23 the x2 damage from hard mode and double pain is additive, meaning you only take x3 damage, which also means the only difference between old hard mode and hard+ mode is more exp and even lower guarding time
Hi, thanks for the info. could you please verify this fact for me, be it wiki or an example. Lots of people have told me that it is 4x dmg and it does seem to be that way
After going through it, it is very much multiplicative. The tiny noobs in the first area of the game usually do 1 damage, and hard+ makes them do 4 damage. I kinda wish it was 3x, but then it wouldn't be as much of a challenge.
For you get the bux detector,you need use the mini trasformation and dash on the litle entrade from machine
4:22 pass comes on your 2nd move of your turn, it just replaces defend, pass gives 1 sp but you don't get the 2x guarding frames or the defence. Like i said, pass comes on the 2nd turn so use defend on the first turn.

@xraygamer6477 The guarding time is much worse than half because of one of the new cards as well. Based on the Training Wheels indicator, you barely have any frames to work with, and because the damage multis are multiplicative with each other, your intake rises to 4x. Some attacks become impossible to survive solo as a level 1 unless you minimize the enemy first
(Unless you meant old hardmode stats? I dont know what it was like before. If so, sorry)

HARD MODE IS NERFED :))))) :
- +40 XP Gain -> +50 XP Gain
- No superguarding -> -50% guarding window
- 3x damage -> 2x damage
NOW WITH THE EXTRA HARD CARDS DDDDDD: :
Gusto adds:
- No superguarding
- +20% XP Gain
Double Pain adds:
- 2x damage (with Hard Mode makes 4x)
- +10% XP Gain
Thrill Seeker adds:
- Reduced guard time
- +20% XP Gain
Thick Skull is useless:
- Simple, disabling XP with no compensation makes it a bad card

Tried doing the challenge and had spent 8 hours on cruel king(solo). Took so long to beat (at level 6)
Now I gotta fight through chapter 2, prayering for the buffed line bounce to carry
Oh and my build was 2 in hp, 1 in sp and 2 in bp(aka 20 hp 10 sp and 9 BP) and my cards were lucky start, knight and power stab

There’s a good chance they’ll come back, if you look at their levels in the enemy index, they’re listed as being level 20.

Vo e was always a female... Even in demo 1. Red always said when you defeat blue 1st that how dare we hurt HER.
Just personal idea, but when fighting boss, you should use dodge wheel to get used to the timing for the attack so you can avoid getting mortal damage more frequently
Btw pass is basiclly defend but worse.

i did demo 1 and demo 2 in one run on hard mode with a friend on hardmode+ and its so friggin annoying cause the stupid eagles 1 shot me

his attacks are quite hard-hitting to new players who arent used to blocktales's guarding mechanic but i suggest taking out red and blue out first with a bomb because noobader could inflict dizziness onto you and youll be immovable, the try to kill noobador with your wooden sword and guard after your first turn, this way youll take lesser damage from him. Hope this helps!
