context: "Jouta Kujo" is a character from a popular doujin in which Kakyoin lays an egg. He's the egg-born son of Jotaro and Kakyoin, known for having a stand named after a dish soap.
And the doujin was made by CLAMP, the lovely ladies behind Card Captor Sakura, Magic Knights Rayearth, and X/1999, amongst others

3:18 Stands are called that because the Author, Hirohiko Araki, wanted to have way to represent something supernatural and spooky, and got inspired by 1 or 2 things (cant remember off of the top of my head) one of the things is the light stand. When you are reading a book late at night, you will usually have a light lamp or stuff like that looming over the book or even yourself, from behind, to be able to read. So yes, Stands are called that because they "stand" by your side, or behind you (however you wish to see it). Also, it just so happens that the way you write Stand in japanese, it can also read as "spirit hamon" like the hamon/ripple from part 1 and 2.

The voice actor of Jotaro in this parody also plays a major role in the official dub of the next part.
He’s a really good Jotaro honestly. The whole cast of this parody is perfection in my book, even better fits than the official dub in a lot of castings, especially Gianni as Joseph, he brings the same energy as the japanese VA that the official dub actor unfortunately couldn’t

Sword Art Online is one those shows that has a lot of ideas in the beginning and then chucks all the good ideas out airplane, one-by-one. And that just with first season.
Tbh, the only things that are good about SAO are the initial premise, the animation (debatable), and the music. It takes a nosedive in quality right from episode one and onward, it usually just takes a little bit for people to notice.

I liked part 4 more just ocz of Kira, but i totally get why ppl like part 3 more, it was longer and the amount of Stand users it had was so freaking big in comparison to part 4, so the amount of stuff to like is more in general.
I think part 4 is better, while part 3 is more fun. When part 3 is good, it's really just a lot of fun in a really Jojo way. Part 4 is better written and has far less skippable episodes and the best villain in the series, but yeah part 3 still has my heart.

I would really recommend watching Re:Zero in the future, its a pretty dark anime but its so good and its been confirmed to have a season 3 soon
grimgar of fantasy and ash could be a cool show to watch, you have the another world fantasy andventure with a dark twist kinda like SAO, just not a mainstream show cause of the type of twist it has and execution.

You guys should watch SAO Abridged instead. It's the perfect compromise! SAO fans get a romp down memory lane, SAO haters get to enjoy the scathing sarcasm, and in a rare twist, people like Ant who are just concerned because they heard it's kinda mid get... a surprisingly compelling narrative??? It's true! SAO Abridged didn't settle for just hate-spoofing the original. They made a bunch of small tweaks to the story and especially the romance arc that turn it from overrated to overhated! Like some of the tweaks to DBZ Abridged, but more of them and more central to the plot. Also, Ant has not one, but TWO self-inserts. I'll let you spot them for yourselves. #2 may surprise you.

As much as I love SAOA, I think a lot of its humor is lost if you haven't seen the original to compare and see where it takes its comedic stabs at.
