Aged 12 angelina was beyond her years , with a beautiful Low register which i love .❤
Those LV renditions were amazing. You know we always love her and her vocals. But that 12 year old version is unbeatable to me. I have always thought it was one of her top 10 vocals.

The maturity now really shows
At 12 yo her voice is a lot smoother and has more vibrato. At 18 the voice is sharper and more powerful. But both performances are amazing. I wish she would do a little less humming at the end of some phrases and finish the words.
Thank you for the video. No comparison for me. At 12 she sings this song more fluent and with ease. At 18 it sound more forced and with a twang. As soon as she did a song like last mention, its not so good as when she sings with her normal tone as in " Unchained Melody" and also some of the other songs.

Thanks Chris, just caught your link on Shakes-P from Saturday. Some will use this to show how much Angelina has improved through the years, but I love her version at 12, I think it's just as or even more expressive than mow at 18. She was and is so crazy good. ❤🎶👣😇🇨🇦
Yes both versions are awesome. Of course the recording quality is better for the version at age 12..
Angelinas lower register is far more pleasing than the direction vocaly she seems to using more and more these days .

Chris, thanks for putting this together. It’s always great to get to compare Angelina’s performances. We can really hear the richness, strength, and maturity of Angelina at 18 vs. 12. Both are beautiful but at 18, Angelina is so much better! The vocal coach reactors all say that women singers come into their peak at 28. I can’t even imagine how good AJ will be then!

Both these versions are great. But personally I like the 12 yo version better. The way she sings STAY at 12 yo is for me one of The Highlights of her career. Your mix is interesting though, combining these two. And add the best parts of 12 yo Angelina to this incredible Vegas version at 18. She can't do wrong. Natural born singer. Thank you Ken and Chris.
Wow! That was beautiful, Chris and Ken! I love how you edited in certain phrases, like "stay," of the younger Angelina with today's more mature Angelina from that amazing concert! She looked and felt like she was really at the height of her power-excited to be there, but confident, and giving her all. She just continues to get better and better, like she promised she would. It's strange I love both versions at 12 her low register is beautiful now at 18 a bit more power but still delicate she really has it all that's why I follow her and thanks Chris awsome work ❤

Thanks to Ken and of course great job, Chris. So glad you inserted those two riffs from the end of her age 12 rendition. Her cover of "Stay" with Ivan is one of my absolute all-time Angelina favorites.
Yes Ivan said that second to last “stay” was one of the best things he’d ever heard.
@@BigAngieFan808 So true. I remember that interview he gave with Alan a while back. It has always been a wonder to me how Ivan (and Egil) could keep on playing along while Angelina did her thing. Her voice would have stopped me dead in my musical tracks!

I love both: quite a few comments say they prefer the version when she was 12, singing with a smoother tone - quite understand that but I wonder if that would have worked so well when singing live in a large theatre.... I suspect people are forgetting the different contexts but would be interested to know what others think.

The 12yo version, hands down.
Generally speaking, I prefer the previous Angelina. She used to blow my mind. The current one doesn’t.
She was a better original singer when she was 12. Now she sounds like every other talented singer

Yes! Well, a review, since I’ve watched it several times already..
This was a great mash-up when you went back & forth between the 2 versions, but when you combined them together, they were just too different, IMO. I really hope you can do a video of the Vegas version by itself for reactors to use. Then we could ask reactors to do both versions in one reaction, since each is a masterpiece.
I think I will do that. We only have the one angle though, for 930
There is a very good quality video available by Brett Rudman (9:30 pm show). And the one from ÕleOlson (7pm show) is quite ok as well. Both are filmed in vertical orientation, though. A horizonal one for the 9:30 pm show is available by Knut Hegland, also with quite ok audio, but visuals are moderate.
They are masterpiece s one of the highlights of the concert❤
The 12 yr old version is much better IMO
For me, the version at the age of 12 is softer, more natural, from her heart. At 18, unfortunately, there are effects she achieves with the way she sings but, to me, it isn't natural anymore.
She sounded SO MUCH BETER at 12...
it's a shame someone told her she had a 'signature' in her voice because keeping that rasp has ruined a once near 'perfect' singer.
