Fui lá duas vezes e nunca tive a sorte de ver a praia assim com a maré tão baixa e para ir para a praia dos mouranitos tive que ir pelas falésias à volta… sem dúvida uma praia espetacular. Vídeo muito fixe 👍

Beautiful video and location. How long before and after low tide would I have to explore that beach por favor?

Hi Paul, the time between low tide and high tide is 6 hours, that is, it takes 6 hours to go down and 6 hours to fill. The best time to go to this beach is on the full moon in September, as it is the day when the low tide is the lowest of the year. Normally this month the wind is from the Southeast, which means that on this coast there is practically no swell, or it is very weak. There is little wind, it is warmer and the water is warmer. Be careful at other times of the year, especially when there are waves, since the sea on this coast is extremely strong and requires special care for those who don't know. Enjoy it. It worth it.

@@addictedtoportugal Hi! Thanks for your response. I've been trying to time the sunset with a low tide. I will be sure to try again in September as you suggested. Also, is there a view from above dos Mouranitos
that can be reached by walking?
      Obrigado.

@@PGerace Hi! The best time to reach it by sand is in September at full moon low tide, as I told you. When you arrive to the beach, in the mountain on your right side you ll find path that goes along the coast. After climbing around 250 m you ll be above Mouranitos beach. Once there, there is another path that goes down but please don´t use it if you are not experienced. Only locals and fishermans are able to use it. Never trust in paths or the sea in this West coast, it is far dangerous then what it looks like, believe me.

@@addictedtoportugal Olá! For sure I won't try to walk down that path. I am just hoping that I have a good view of the sea stack from above. Will I have a view from above?
