I have just had my camera repaired and was downtown in part to try it out when I ran into the student singers fro the university getting ready to freeze in minus temperatures to bring people in central Umeå fifteen minutes of Lucia tradtition. I tagged along with my camera.
(Also a BIG part of Lucia. The saffron bun! en.wikipedia.o...)

My sister was born in the darkness, there was no light in the hospital, there was a storm, and she was born, healthy. The priest said her name should be Lucia and so it was

Så synd med bråkete reklame når man ser etter noe som dette.
Jeg har aldri kommet over Lucia utenfor Skandinavia, og det er synd for det gir god førjulsstemning!

5:54 Wow a Swedish translation of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
You really know how to appreciate the American masterpieces (this song originated from a Colouring Book project in 1939 Christmas Season by Robert L May)

@@pergunnareriksson Look for Dewali celebration. It is all over the world and even in White House now. Lucifer is the light bearer.

@@andrzejzie7046 Yes, I've heard about and seen clips of Dewali celebrations, but never had the opportunity to take part in it. Maybe some day as it looks great.
