She tells everyone she was a self made single mother that did it all on her own when that's just a big lie. He adopted children for her since she couldn't naturally conceive children. He gave her family vacations every summer traveling around the country and took her to Hawaii on her anniversary. I've never seen a man do so much for a woman. He basically gave her his life.

I was working with other students too, we were all employed by the school district, not paid under the table. What is a little bit of a shame here, is that we are focused on why exclusively men are hated for being single, rather than looking at the problem as a human being. It was different in my family. My mom was the one who went out and faced the world. It wasn't anything to do with my dad being lazy or not wanting to work or anything like that either. My dad was disabled he had what was known as post polio. My dad was a welder who worked on trucks for oilfields when he could still get around. More than one doctor told him that he would have to retire at the age of 34 or he would be confined to a wheelchair for the rest of his life he hated the idea of that because he didn't like to have attention drawn to him. It was very unfortunate for him because he didn't want to stop working for the company where he was employed and he felt like the man should be the protector and provider. My mom and dad had such a strong love for each other and for the family that my mom just understood that she would have to take on the role of the provider and be the one who worked at a regular 40 plus hour a week job. My dad was a good man and he still did what he could he worked from home and my brother and I would assist him with his work when we weren't in school wherever we could. He was still a provider and made a profit from his work and the trade that he had learned as a welder. People would bring things to him to be repaired or assembled and welded together he was very good at it and he was a very well liked member of the community and people would bring him work to help us out. It started out as just small things and as my brother and I progressed we worked on larger equipment and he was there every step of the way instructing us on what to do. By that time he could only work while sitting down at a table. He taught my brother and I how to weld as well. Though he couldn't get around and couldn't get hired anywhere and had limited skills other than being a welder he never actually stopped working. I admired him so much for that and my mom for strapping on her work boots and doing what had to be done she became successful at her job and had a whole team of people working for her. It was so touching at the end of the day when my mom would come home he would be waiting for her on the couch to give her a foot rub everyday. I just hope that one day I will find that kind of love and understanding in a marriage. I never even heard a cross word or even an argument of any significant measure between my mom and dad. Lots of inaccurate claims made in this video. Black men don't have a superior metabolism to white men. That's scientifically ridiculous. Men are certainly not the only ones to be biologically designed for "the grind". Women have always been as well. Technological advances, especially over the past 100 years, have changed the roles of men and women in society, both physically and mentally.
