    Hey! I really really want to go to Clemson but I’m an out of state student. My gpa currently is like 3.8 or 3.9 I’m not really sure. I’m taking the act and sat for the first time in feb (I’m a junior) but from practice tests and stuff I’m guessing I’ll get a 1350 or 29 first time but I can retake it to get a 1400. Another thing I’m worried about is I’m homeschooled. I started a model un team and I’m doing mock trial. Do you think I have a chance?

      I also will have taken physics, calculus, biology, astronomy, composition, and Spanish (1101.1102,1103) at a community college by my senior year

      @@catev.7244 Of course, I can’t guarantee your admittance. Based on your stats, it looks like you have a high GPA, predict having high standardized test scores, and are very involved in your community.
      Your admittance will be largely based on the competitiveness of your major/program, which will determine how competitive your scores and involvement will have to be admitted into the university.
      Best of luck during your college application process, and as always, GO TIGERS! :)

    I really want to get into their computer science program 🥺 I'm a senior in highschool and pretty sure I'm at the top of my class and I've taken a few computer electives already, I'm just sooooo stressed and scared I won't get in. But thank you for the video you're a great talker and soooo pretty 🌺

    My daughter is trying to decide between UGA and Clemson. Do you have any advice for her? Thanks 🙏

      @Christopher Perez I would advise your daughter to make a pro's and con's list of everything about each university from the location & degree program to the campus atmosphere. This really helped me finalize my decide down to Clemson. Likewise, if you have the opportunity to visit both universities and the surrounding areas (i know it is a bit different doing Covid times), but I would recommend doing so. I remember having a "gut feeling" when visiting Clemson and feeling a sense of comfort, and knew it was the place for me. I wish her the best of luck with her college decision :)

    What GPA do I need to get into Clemson?

    • @HaleyWatson
      @HaleyWatson  3 года назад

      @Dj Patterson The typical GPA for accepted Clemson students is around a 3.7 out of a 4.0 GPA. However, it’s possible to be accepted with a lower GPA depending on the other factors of your application: community involvement, extracurriculars, test scores, etc. I hope this helps, and feel free to ask me any questions you have about Clemson. Best of luck during your college application process/search, and GO TIGERS!

    What gpa do you need to get in

    • @HaleyWatson
      @HaleyWatson  3 года назад

      @Red Dillon Excellent Question! I personally had around a 4.4 (weighted gpa), when I applied. However, they look at a lot of other factors (community involvement, SAT/ACT scores, etc.), so don't get discouraged if your gpa isn't in the "ideal" range. :)
