Judy's vibrato and emotion packed voice always break my heart. She is so lovely here. Her voice is effortless. Surely she now sings in heaven with angels and God watching over her. I hope so. Peace be with you lovely angel Judy.

Mickey Rooney was on The Judy Garland Show and he says, C'mon let's do that old routine!!! Judy passes Him a look - 🤣 But they did that old routine! Mickey Rooney as Puck, in A Midsummer's Night Dream is wonderful! He is phenomenal in his older roles, before he passed. An EXCELLENT ACTOR, MIKKEY ROONEY!!!! Let's not forget what the studio heads did to Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland!!! They were despicable!
Heretical, maybe, but I prefer Judy like this as a spirited or wistful kid, before she began to wallow in her off-screen misfortunes and play the diva for her claque. As a youngster growing up through song, mooning over Mickey or rousing her fellow teens, she was fresh and appealing. After marrying Minnelli she could over-emote and clamor for sympathy, though she was more astringent and self-deprecatingly funny on TV.
This classic and funny number is perfectly performed by the legendary, adorable, very pretty, very intelligent, and extremely talented Judy Garland! Lana Turner was not intelligent, and her acting was awful! Judy Garland was prettier and had more talent in the tip of pinky fingernail than Lana Turner!
Amazing how you'd feel if someone disrespected your Mom or other female family member with such a callous remark.... How 'bout showing a little RESPECT for a TRUE AMERICAN ICON & HUMAN BEING, HUH?? How big you must feel, going for an obvious shot like that?!!

Libraries are wonderful, and Judy Garland is wonderful, but put them together and you get this absolute gem.
She had such a beautiful voice. Her singing was perfection.
She had such an aching melancholy to her voice...
Listening this song and crying because I am in the same situation. Judy Garland is my rock.
Marjolein Garland only reason I’m here hah
I been in this situation nearly the whole time I been living in Puerto Rico.
Me too
Nearly 80 years ago. Amazing where time goes 😮
Bob UK right!? its crazy
+Amelia Schuster I mean it's like watching something from another place in history, which is what it is now 😮
Her acting and timing are flawless. It really is amazing.
It's never been documented, but I firmly believe that she was a prodigy.
Brilliantly written song superbly delivered by this brilliant performer. I have got a crush.
Back watching again! Gee she's wonderful.

Beautiful song…
What a beauty !
Thanks for uploading !
I work in a library, and I feel with you, Judy! Maybe are books the best friends of this world. Hillary have Donald, but nobodys got me...
I don’t think I’ve ever related to a movie character more than this one 🤷🏻♀️.
I love you Judy.

Cause they had respect and morals.

Metro Goldewyn has Meyer lol the studio just throwing that in there 😅
Aww!
I don't know what she's crying about, she gets to work in that fantastic library every day
Keep expecting a sourfaced spinster with pince-nez to loom up hissing 'Ssh, young lady, or get out and take the orchestra with you!'
Maybe some of us were just born to be librarians.
I miss my google and her situation is the same as mine at the moment
I am just living ina LOL, too.
She walked so that Marian the Librarian could run ❤
Today is Judy Garland's 98th birthday

Lol Lynn. You made me laugh and think "how true." Even doctor's offices have cushy sofa's. But now, this pandemic poses problems.
Not sure I ship all of that.
