Public high school. The one day in my life when I skipped high school to go to Lake Michigan with my best friend, we got caught. Unofficial senior skip day was supposed to be Thursday, we went on Tuesday. But the weather was nice; so did everyone else. 2 guys walked off campus with a foreign student from Venezuela in tow, waved at the vice principal, got in their cars, and drove off. They got nothing. I got 6 hours detention. 1 for each hour that I missed. My friend's mom came in to complain about why they would not accept her excused absence note, like they did not accept my mother's excused note. Since my mom wasn't ballsy, I had to do all 6 hours. My friend's mom, who was a bus driver, got her off. Picture the bus driver from South Park combined with Roseanne Barr. That was my friend's mom. Fortunately, I had a sewing project in home ec class, and my detention teacher was my advanced algebra teacher. She knew that I honestly did my homework at lunchtime instead of going to the cafeteria. She was supposed to make me copy the dictionary. She let me read love novels. Eventually, I transferred to the home economics room, where I finished my sewing project. I just had time to serve the 6 days before our senior trip. People who could not serve the 6 hours before the senior trip were not allowed to go
I WAS THE DRAMA TEACHER. Btw, Jenny won that competition on Saturday. She always did.

I was in a private Christian school too, the school I was at was so picky about “worldly” music...just because it’s not Christian doesn’t mean it’s of the devil😑 I was a really big kpop fan back then (I still listen to kpop sometimes)

Oh private school. I'm so sheltered I was never aware of the worst that went on with the dumbass junior high kids. Like the only thing I'd potentially hear was people making out in the girls' bathroom or in some random hallway. Were people fucking or sneaking drugs? I may never know. 😂
Meanwhile I thought I would've gotten in big trouble because I brought a mix cd that had Ciara and the Black Eyed Peas on it ("no hip-hop, rock and roll, only Disney or music that praises Christ"). lmfao
Somehow we got away with bringing video games, despite "the rules" against Pokemon and violence. And Harry Potter-omgwitchcraft books. We got Halo and Guitar Hero in the room, and girls were reading Twilight. Guess teachers were clueless or indifferent.
I got suspended for letting off a stink bomb in class once, it was great!! The class, and those around us, had to be evacuated...that was three days. I got suspended for climbing on top of the gym in the morning before classes started. I hung a flag the night before n ran fishing line down to a pole to pull before class, someone found n cut the line so I had to go push it over the side so everyone could see it. Three days. I got suspended for leaving campus for lunch everyday, they finally reported us, we ran into our English teacher at Dairy Queen.... I got suspended for drinking in class one morning, and I actually wasn’t, I was high..... My dad thought he’d punish me by making me do yard work all day when I was home. Little did he know I loved working in the yard and fishing in the pond... 😂 Those were the days.....
I literally felt that scene in the Dean's office. 😂😂

I graduated from a catholic school and the teachers were like Cellphones on your locker and then the most strict teacher of all high school said: Take out your phones and search the thesaurus for these terms. And catholic schools they punished everything

I remember back when it was a huge deal to have a phone in class. It's kind of terrible, but these days I don't dislike the rule because I think kids should just be on the phone all day, now I just dislike it because I immediately think about calling 911 in an active shooter scenario.
Everyone knows the rules, but suspension is a bit harsh. What happened to a day or two of phone confiscation?

Wow you had it so easy, when i went to school in the dark ages, they just beat us. Then sent you back... If you were a weenie and refused the spanking they sent you to detention. If you were totally spoiled and refused detention then they expelled you. I knew, if I got expelled mom would do much worse to me... Wish I could of went to catholic school... LOL
IMHO cell phones should not allowed in any classroom, ever. NO need. If you need to flirt or be mildly disobedient , throw a paper airplane or pass a note, and if your family needs to reach you in case of emergency they know how to call the dang school. Stick the friggin cell phone in a locker until lunch period

Lots of schools have already decommissioned their lockers Holly. They're not used anymore in those schools. Phones are integrated into class because everything is online and every kid literally has a computer in their pockets now.

Can any other epic gamers relate to this felling?: Every time you see this channel upload a video with a female telling a joke your first instinct is to always assume it won’t be very funny. Might be called biased by some people, but I call it being an epic gamer.
My instinct hasn’t failed me once. My assumption has been correct 100% of the time. I don’t think I can even be called biased. When something is correct 100% of the time it’s fact, not biased.
