To be somewhat fair to the Battle Planet card game, it came out a little before and started picking up steam when the pandemic hit, which is really what killed it, kinda hard to play a game meant for 2-4 people and tournaments when you can't go out, or at least shouldn't go out.
@@matthewsonguad3313they spin so they can work with the arena gears and cards, not to battle and why when a toy that spins is released people compare it to beyblade
I loved the card game; its a shame that the cards and the toys were never in sync, and eventually the card game just ended. It kind of felt like Spin Master wasn't that interested in the card game side of it.
Yea unfortunately the spinning SA Bakugan can only "really" spin over Gate Cards as intended if the dedicated big Arena playset is also in use. And until it hits clearance (which I think it absolutely will), you're looking at a $40 USD entry point to properly use SA Bakugan without it nudging cards aside. The new BakuTins also have an indented space to set Gate Cards for a "Lite" version of the game to be played on, but it only has room for two Gate Cards and has an overall much smaller space to play in.
They should relaundh the classic bakugan including New Vestroia and this time make the gameplay similar to the system in each show. Also, they should make every bakugan that's seen in the show.
Bakumutants in Mechtanium Surge: The accident. we've seen bakugan split apart before with Sky and gaia dragonoid along with Dartaak and the Bakumine Tremblar, but it was the first instance of customizable Bakugan, even if it was a bit awkward to work with. Bind System in Bakutech: The Coincidence. having the Bakugan split in hemispheres made room for the designs of each to really explode. (see what i did there?) sucks that the system was only in Japan, but it came close to getting the split and customization right. Bakugan G3 central gimmick: depending on how well this iteration of Bakugan does, it could either work out for them and be the third time Charm, or flop on its face and become the Pattern to signify Death for the franchise. Edit: Judging from the reception of G3's advanced game, I'm certain it'll end up the pattern, to the point where I see Spin Master hastily blaming _that_ for Bakugan's failure rather than the heavy focus on Luck and mono-build encouragement.
While I do understand they can't go back to Bakugan Ultras since they're not using cores anymore (they flop really funny when you use them in gate cards) I'm not too sure how I feel about the beyblade thing? Especially without some sort of curvature to guide their spin, weak as it is. Even worse I'm kinda sad that the "creatures" are just half spheres now (regardless of how that went in the past). The big transformoballs were the best part about the toys and now they kinda look like japanese bottlecap toppers.
I started to hunt for legacy bakugans on Ebay but im afraid that this third gen would sell poorly that the legacy bakugan from BB NV GI MS BT prices skyrocket on Ebay.
Yeah... I agree that designs so far do nothing for me. A lot of just reminds me of the G2 Bakugan character designs, just... more boring. After getting a starter set, which came with NO instructions on how to play the new game, I decided that I will likely sit G3 out. Maybe I'll change my mind and be won over, but for now... eh.
Have no formal opinion on Bakugan 2023, but I certainly hope Beyblade X is good. The non-gimmicky models I like (the upgraded Dranzer especially) were interesting; but after G-Revolution; most of the adaptations on a personal level are unwatchable. I've been trying to wipe the spinoffs from my memory; with mixed results.
Simple Answer: They where lazy that they copy designs from modern popular anime and games such as Dan that looks like Yuji from JJK, Mia looks like Anya from Spy x Family, TC looks like Ty from Digimon, Griffin looks like Black Jonesy fron Fortnite, Kage looks like an NPC from Pokemon XY and Juno looks like Jamie from Street Fighter 6.
I'm big fan G1 Bakugan from Toys, Ainime and Video Game. 😍❤ but G2? is ok the toys are great but problem of G2 Anime are ok 😥 but Card game and video game is BAD like really Bad. 👎👎 But G3 MMMMMMM? maybe soon something good? 🤔
trying hard is giving too much credit, they arent trying at all. They just flung a gimmick and didntthink about all of the logistics. You cant even play 3 special attacks in their new game
The new designs look cheap and yet also expensive animators in the audience might kind of agree with me on this one with the main characters the bakugan looked cheap as heck even with CGI animation designs.
Great video. But bakugan has went so far downhill since the flop of the tcg . Idk why they even made a new series. Those spinning bakugan are such a terrible design.
It's been awhile since we last saw a bakugan review from kohdok, this is pretty good, 10/10

And the poor distribution on Armored Alliance that didnt released during lockdown making overpriced on Ebay.
Bakugan: literally trying to reinvent the ball.
The fact this is coming out in the same year as Beyblade X probably doesn’t help
Especially when Beyblade X seems to be a really solid gen that combines what people loved from the metal and burst series.

Technically due to the pandemic they cant distrivute the card since their pointless that you cant go out to compete for safety concerns.

Strong on red and blue and a reroll and the gatecard fits the bakugan. Good pack just the brawlercards are missing.
Actually, full rules have came out already, and are available on the official Bakugan channel
They should do a life-gauge system like in the original bakugan
Ain’t no way Bakugan the new beyblade

Oh hey, i have this one!
Also officially speaking, the new series is technically called Bakugan Street Brawl
I was hoping that they would bring back BP after a hiatus, but this new series is just strange and I have no idea who they're marketing this towards.
These newer ones look kinda weird but I might consider someday.
Normal rollable bakugan are 4.97$

Only found S.A Mantid, Nillious and Hammerhead but not Diamond S.A Ventri.
Are you gonna do any Lorcana videos now that Lorcana has been released?
If it was up to me, i would've just fixed battle planet's flip card gimmick.
I want to see bakugan do well, but man, it seems like the more they do the worse they get
I started to hunt for legacy bakugans on Ebay but im afraid that this third gen would sell poorly that the legacy bakugan from BB NV GI MS BT prices skyrocket on Ebay.
How are rarities determined for the figs?
It's been quite a while since I've heard about beywarriors lmao
wait, they all do that? it's not just a special spin off gimmick? while cool because you can fuse them, it oddly downplays how unique it is
As far as I know, the new bakugan don't have elemental attributes anymore, they all come from different clans instead
Let me see how K1mbo is taking this😊
That half and half ball design just hurts to see

omg what the bleep what!?
Shelves up and down the country will melt under the immense heat of these wannabe Beyblades. 💀

Why the main characters of these kind of shows always look the same?
Simple Answer: They where lazy that they copy designs from modern popular anime and games such as Dan that looks like Yuji from JJK, Mia looks like Anya from Spy x Family, TC looks like Ty from Digimon, Griffin looks like Black Jonesy fron Fortnite, Kage looks like an NPC from Pokemon XY and Juno looks like Jamie from Street Fighter 6.
@@anonymoustroll2432....Black Jonesy from Fortnite...what in the world are you kids playijg nowadays
Bakugan??? AGAIN????? Oh. .......

Yeah.... bakugan has really fallen off, theyre trying really hard to be Beyblade and its clearly not working in their favor
trying hard is giving too much credit, they arent trying at all. They just flung a gimmick and didntthink about all of the logistics. You cant even play 3 special attacks in their new game

So this is why the regular cores cost decreased the price than the special attacks.
That is the worst ruleset for a Bakugan game I've ever seen. Why did they even bother.
