8:27 Gets me every time
Omg I found a wild Montu!
The lord is here
it gives me good shivers
I mean, except for the Star Shanty, that's the one I made sure to download.
"I solemnly swear to devote my life and ability in the defense of the United Nations of Earth, to defend the constitution of man, and to further the universal rights of all sentient life, from the depths of the Pacific, to the edge of the galaxy, for as long as I shall live."
@@Sephiroth144 ... as long as I shall live. *dies*. welp.
Stellaris, you either play one game as xenophile democracy or spend a thousand games purging the galaxy of every single xeno you can find. For the Emperor.
For the CPU and FPS. Burn them all.
i play as a criminal syndicate and sit back watching the npc empires do sht while my empire builds hidden facilites under the nose of my allies.
Jokes on you. I allways play the xenophile empire.
Xenophile megacorp syphoning money out of the other empires
There is an explanation to this you know...
The universe is finite, the computing powers are finite. If Xenos are left out of check they will claim and consume everything. And then they will bring on the Great Lag. Oh we have to destroy them...
Stellaris is basically an RP sandbox for making your own stories. You start off each game as a precreated empire or one you've created yourself. And then you play through it basically making up stories in your head about your race's trials and tribulations and their interactions with other races of the galaxy. Some people play just to beat the game, while others basically try to roleplay the Empire they've created.
Which is why each cinematic is more an overview of the concept of the expansion coming out.(Though later on they did establish a bit of a loose story going on between them). Like Utopia, the Humans idea of Utopia was ensuring nothing could hurt them, controlling everything so they could have peace. While the Three Aliens established a Federation and sought diplomatic means to bring everyone together.
Fortunately in the Apocalypse Trailer the planet that was blown up was a colony of the UNE but not Earth itself. Still bad for the planet but at least Earth is still there.
There is a follow up trailer where you see the Confederacy of Man(A long lost human expedition turned to new civilization and a bit Xenophobic) Basically declares war against the race that blew up that colony and unleashes their own Planet Killers in retaliation.
Thanks for giving us a quick rundown of Stellaris and how the cinematics we saw incorporated the concepts 🙂
You mean the Emperor in Overlord DLC is from the CoM and just said "fuck it, same human, same struggle'
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames yeah, none of those were gameplay trailers but rather trailers for the concepts which the game now incorporates. In megacorp they added in the megacorp government type and city-planets called ecumenopolis.
Stellaris actually helped finalize some aspects of my science fantasy novel trilogy I am writing. It enabled me to be able to roleplay as my civilizations and actually lend a grasp as to how threes empires would work and function in a galactic setting.
I have 15 space faring civilizations that make up my galaxy in my universe, each with their own governments, economies, politics, traditions and cultures, militaries, technologies, and religions where applicable.
As an avid lover of space and all things sci-fi, I can’t wait to be able to publish my first book and take my readers on a journey through political intrigue, conflict, the fight for freedom of sapient life, the mystery of the creator gods and the fallen lord, and a story of honor, sacrifice, love, and valor.
Stellaris is one of these games that are very complex but super captivating! And omg the game soundtrack .. I could listen hours to that! Thanks for you great video!!
Glad you enjoyed the video and complex but captivating is a great way to describe what we saw 🤩
I wouldn't really say it's complex. It's actually very simple and easy to learn, but actually mastering it is a whole different idea. Like I've been playing this game for years and every playthrough I discover new features I never knew before. I love how it's not really overly complex like other 4x but gives an equal amount of challenges and roleplay.
The last Apocalypse trailer where the human fleet goes against the aliens is easily the best Stellaris trailer they have done. I always choke up when watching it. Watching a mother say her last farewells to her child -> into the human fleet fighting insurmountable odds with their pledge of allegiance playing in the background, just to end with us watching the human colony of Alpha Centauri be completely destroyed.
And the feeling you get watching that, because most people assume the planet is Earth which honestly makes it even more impactful. You kinda get the sense of dread with how pathetic we are technologically compared to alien threats that we create in Sci-fi. We don't know what is out there, but just the miniscule chance of a giant space empire with a giant space laser, being able to destroy Earth in just a few seconds is terrifying.
What if you gambled with your life - and lost?
Pretty sure the colony was Europa 7
As an OG Stellaris fan, this was unexpected, but greatly appreciated!
😎🤗 we like to throw in a few surprises here and there
Should check out the release trailers, they give a lot more information that might help understand how the game work
If you guys would ever do a series, it would be cool to see some reactions to the Stellaris Invicta series by The Templin Institute.
They turned their Stellaris game into a narrative-focused 10-part series. It's very high quality.
We’ve seen some stuff from Templin Institute before. Thanks for the recommendation 😀
Gtu is GREAT!
I second this.
I do a similar thing but in text. It’s super roleplaying nerdy but I have so much fun documenting the histories of my empires, even down to individual leaders and their accomplishments, all dated. It’s just a way I like to chill.
I have been in love with Stellaris recently and now you're reacting to the game's trailers! It must be a sign
It is indeed a sign 😜 glad you’ve been enjoying the game 🙂
same actually
The robot that was looking into the mirror had gained sentience
Ah, okay 👍 😯
Ooh, Stellaris. Wasn't expecting this but I'm glad to see ya'll covering it. It's a very intriguing game and these trailers was fun to see. And the soundtrack is incredible. This would be excellent to see you two livestream
The soundtrack for this game has been getting a lot of love 😀
Wow I wasn’t expecting you to react to Stellaris! This game is one of my favorites due to all the stories you can tell with it. My friends and I use it as a medium for role play actually, creating empires and lore and building a universe from that with the game as a medium
That’s a cool idea to use it as roleplay with friends. Kind of like a video board game or dnd game 😀
There are a few trailers set to original music for stellaris. Some of my favorites. A couple of my favorites are the Aquatics release trailer and the Toxic gods release trailer. Both shorter but definitely fun to watch
Thanks for the recommendation on some good Stellaris videos to check out 🙂
i really did not expect to see stellaris on ur channel! this game is one of my most played and it has a special place in my heart
😊🤗 it’s a game we’ve been meaning to check out for sometime now and glad we finally got around to it 🤩
It's great to see you react to Stellaris. Each trailer is interconnected with each other in subtle ways if you can catch it.
We missed a lot of the connections having just checked it out, but can see the level of care and detail they put into each 🙂🤩
In Stellaris, you play a massive space civilization that can span dozens of worlds, and every aspect of your empire is yours to shape. Your economy, your ethics, your role in the galactic collective. Much of Stellaris is learning the history of the universe, the billions that came before and their achievements, ones you yourself can surpass. It's pure strategy and management, but it is none the less enthralling to play and experience.
I typically play a more benevolent Imperium of Man type civilization where other races are welcomed, but not allowed into politics... at least until they've been uplifted enough to be on our level. With Overlord, and the Hegemony federations, I can also play benevolent dictatorships now too.
Stellaris is a sandbox grand strategy game. Your galactic empire is yours to shape. Game play is between total war, and civilization series.
You could be a hive mind that just wants to eat all life in the galaxy,
You could be a mega church that wants to convert everyone peacefully to your religion,
You could be a peaceful empire that want to help others, build federations and just research in peace,
You could be an empire that want to kill or enslave all other life,
You could be robotic empire that just got free of their organic masters, (that mirror represents when robot got self-aware)
You could be a democratic collective that wants to impose you own ideas on others, be it peaceful or using war.
And many many more.
Nearly all the cinematic trailers have a game play trailer that explains them little more and makes things clearer. You have basically watch the first parts of very trailer without getting to see the rest.
oh wow! didnt know you'd find your way to Stellaris!!! i've been playing that almost since it came out, this is why i love you guys. You keep finding all the games i play that i never would have thought you'd cover. Plus you guys are just awesome :)
Thanks so much for the kind words 🥰😊🤗 we like to branch out and check out new games. There are so many on our list and Stellaris has been recommended for awhile now
I love stellaris! Thanks for reacting to all these trailers
Our pleasure 🥳😀🤗
So the game is a logistics simulator, incase you are wondering...
Another post, but I feel like I need to explain about the gameplay.
Stellaris has no fixed story. You create and shape the story yourself.
- You start (usually) alone in a vast universe as an early space fairing civilization. Your species can be a mammalian humanoid, an intelligent avian bird, a neural fungal network, a rogue AI, or just about anything you can imagine and it is up to you to guide your people through the universe.
- Your first encounter with a xeno (species outside of your home world) lifeform is very likely going to be one of the neutral species of the universe, such as the Tiyanki (A space fairing herd animal), or a primitive space amoeba (Massive space blob), or a primitive species living on a different planet, that you can later uplift to sentience, or a pre-space fairing civilization that you can observe for science, invade to take over their planet, or help them become space fairing themselves.
- Your first encounter with another space fairing species can either be friendly, neutral or hostile depending on the policies you and the other civilization has set for first contact. If you're open and peaceful, but they are hostile, you are very likely to have your people get kidnapped and disected by them for study, but if both are peaceful, this will give a relationship bonus for both going forward.
- After a while when enough civilizations have discovered each other, some of them will form a Galactic Federation that you can either be a part of in forming it, or be invited into. Staying out is of course an option, but you really need to know what you're doing. You can try to become essentially Emperor Palpatine and unite the federation through authoritarian military power, or you can become a Galactic Defender against threats to the Galaxy, or you can even become a Crisis.
- Crisis is the end game; what it is depends on your game settings and what has happened until now. There are multiple forms of what the Crisis can be, but if you choose the become the Crisis yourself, then one option you have is resetting the reality itself. Down this path, forces from other dimensions even will come to try and stop you from doing this and you win if you manage to destroy everything through this method, including yourself.
I would say that only the middle part of the story is always the same. How it begins and how it ends is left up to you. On the meanwhile you need to juggle diplomacy, war, economics, trade, industry, expansion and espionage until you can realize what you were hoping to achieve. There is no singular goal.
Well, that's not entirely true. There are multiple ascension paths you can follow. From becoming cybernetic AI consciousness to unlocking Psychic Powers and multiple others that provide a huge boon for your civilization, but these are not your ultimate goals. Only ways to improve your species and civilization.
And yes, you don't have to be an authoritarian dictator. You absolutely can also be a democratic pacifist and have your civilization become a mixture (Even inter-species) of all the other civilizations, or a single minded hive consciousness, or an AI gestalt society. Like I said, the story is up to you to make.
There are two Crisis stages. There's a mid-game crisis too. The middle of the game definitely isn't always the same.
Thanks for reacting to Stellaris . You should check out Bendy and the ink machine and Bendy and the dark revival trailers
Fucking finally! Ive been waiting for this forever!
I have 5000 hours in this game and a tattoo to match!
To answer some questions.
Stellaris, as a game is free form space politics simulator, also known as a 4X - Explore, Expand, Exploit, Exterminate.
You create a race of people. Determine how they interact and govern themselves and their neighbors. Create ships, craft planets, make allegiances, have centuries long wars.
There is not central story or plot, and barely even a tutorial. The game starts are your left with nothing but your wits and will to figure it all out.
A single game can last week's and only ends under one of two circumstances. You either unite the Galaxy or end it.
They skipped the sea chanty trailer! This is a travesty!
Seriously, you should go back on your own and watch the sea chanty Aquatics trailer.
One thing to note about Stellaris is that there is a sort of galactic history in each game, but it is, ultimately, a pure sandbox 4X game. It is what you make of it. It has no set narrative. It is Grand Strategy on a galactic-semi-universal scale. Each expansion pack is designed to expand or refine that concept.
You play as one of many galactic scale civilizations, and your goal? Your goal is what you make of it. There are /many/ victory conditions that you can set yourself... or you can just sit back and watch the galaxy do it's own thing while you're on the sidelines.
The choice of what the game is... is quite literally, yours.
The destruction of Alpha Centaurii which we assume at first to be earth, always breaks my heart, and makes me even more xenophobic in Stellaris.
The cuter they are, the deadlier they are. Almost every time a species looks cute, they turn out to be fanatical xenophobic warmongers bent on destroying everything.
I'm genuinely unsure as to how you ended up with such a short trailer for Synthetic Dawn, it's supposed to be longer than that, does someone else pick out these videos for you???
Just to add a bit context for Nemesis trailer the giant cube is able to destroy entire solar system and turn the star into a black hole, in Utopia trailer two sides fighting over remains of Dyson Sphere that if completed will harvest entire energy output of a star which is alot, in Apocalypse trailer you've seen a Colossus(Planet Killer weapon) it has many configurations such as: world cracker, neutron sweep(destroying all biological life forms on a planet), shileding(makes a force field around planet which can't be broken from within or out), for aquatics there is an option to drown the world to make it an ocean world. In a short Megacorp trailer you can see Ecumenopolis which is a one giant city planet like Corrusant from Star Wars. And in a last trailer purple fleet using a Quantum Catapult which is used to launch fleets through long distances but it lacks accuracy and the lonely ship in the end is a result of that inaccuracy :D
It's like Civilizations but in Space
be wary of the cute aliens. for some reason the game is more likely to make those ones genocidal.
U.U Stellaris one of my favorite games i never saw a reaction to it xD
That MEGACORP commercial was STRAIGHT out of "Starship Troopers" for sure! I couldnt stop laughing at it!
The Apocalypse cinematic had a second part. For some reason it was not included in here.
Please reach 100k subs👍
Utopia "Path to Ascension" is one of my favorite video game trailers of all time. Btw, could you please react to Nahida's character teaser, demo, and collected miscellany? She is a new character in Genshin Impact and is the Archon/God of Wisdom.
while stellaris has lore and backstory everything that occurs after you hit play is your call kill everybody kill nobody protect everybody stop "the crisis" become "the crisis" it's your choice
and you can choose between preset factions to play as or create your own with a faction creator
some of the lore is pretty fucking weird like there is this one story of a group of soldiers encountering an eldrich horror beyond comprehension that claimed to be all powerful and demanded subservience the soldiers responded by opening fire killing the horror... I find it hilarous that there was absolutely nothing special about the weapons the ammo or the soldiers... if a being claims to be all powerful it shouldn't be able to be put down by regular ass bullets... but then again that specific horrors race is known for being unable to stay dead so it doesn't really matter if they die
So Stellaris is pretty huge, you sort of design your own space society as good or hanously evil as you desire and guide it through it's hystory First space travel first contact, exploring the history of species that came before and ultimately facing a galaxy wide threat.....or in some cases becoming the threat.
If you guys are looking for new trailers and games to watch content from, EVE Online is a game that has many amazing trailers and videos, and almost no one has made reactions to. A good list of videos to watch, that I recommend would be:

You guys missed out big time on the last trailer from Nemesis that wraps up (sort of) the story. Also if you want to react to a good RP playthrough of Stellaris, try Stellaris Invicta by the Templin Institute. It's long though, if I'm remembering right there are more than 20 something episodes that are 30-ish minutes long each.
The Shroud is empty. come join me in it.
"Here's a mirror" to a robot achieving sentience and self awareness :p
stellaris trailers? STELLARIS TRAILERS!?
HOL ON LEMME GRAB CORNPOP
Um hello it's me again I wanted to suggest another thing you could react to(take your time with this one if you have 9000 other sugestiones)
It's a channel called ,,The stupendium " which makes music videos of games. The dude running the channel is incredibly talented and im sure you will enjoy it. He has a TF2 song which might be a good one to start with.
Once again no pressure, just react to what you want
Have a good day!
Nils_AF
All of these trailers are for DLCs and expansions (except the first), part of Paradox Entertainment's business strategy is to get the base game in you hands for next to nothing and then develop DLC for 10+ years so the final product is unrecognizable from what it initially was, enticinbg people to buy piecemeal, If you go on Steam right now and try to purchase the complete edition for either CK2 or EU4 it could run you like 400-500 bucks.
These games have no win condition so the additional value comes from novelty and the story you create as you build your empire which will inevitably fall in time. Leviathan adds giant space monsters which help or hinder your empire, Synthetic Dawn is about cyborgs the ability to enslave organics as machines or vice-versa or integrate synthetic parts into your race to the point they are indistinguishable from machines, Apocalypse is about the ability to destroy, giant star imploding lasers, weaponizing meteors to destroy planets etc. Nemesis allows you to become the endgame crisis that every other civilization must respond to after a certain turn limit or be annihilated OR become the Custodian, a figure granted abusive power entrusted with organizing the other empires against the threat. MegaCorp allows you to play as a cutthroat mega corporation engage in slave trade, fix markets, build mega cities that cover the surface of whole planets and generally do economy stuff. Overlord is about vassalization, mutually beneficial or otherwise and should you become vassalized by the AI, rebellion. Federations is about teamplay, diplomacy etc establishing a sort of EU/NATO situation from likeminded civs whether a Trade League, Martial Alliance, or a Hegemony and voting on issues that all within must abide by
It's just a sandbox map game, the galaxy's filled with randomly generated and pre generated empires, You create your own empire, from names and appearances to government structure and the ethics of your people. You explore and expand planets, declare war, enact diplomacy stuff like that. There's no real structure or story. It's more about crafting your own story from the experiences you have throughout the 300 year timeframe. It's the same gameplay loop as all the other Paradox games, Stellaris just does RP the best, alongside Crusader Kings.
Ok, so focusing only on purely cinematic trailers was not the best decision :) Trailers for each DLC/expansion are made of several parts.
First ones had only 2 - announcement trailer (which you watched) which contained little to none information, mainly teaser about theme and name and then release trailer that contained information about features of exapnsion with parts of gameplay, but being described in cinematic way in theme of announcement trailer.
In later DLC/expansions announcement trailers were expanded to be longer, tell a story and to be followed up by release date trailers (though not in every case) that were still cinematic in nature and continuing story. And then finally with release trailer that maintained original form.
I know it's little late, but here's my own playlist that contains imo important missing pieces: ruclips.net/p/PL3Z7lqZjBkRWVzulbY35GJO_MLnvLQh4I
Put in order chronological order. In case you'd like to catch up on missing stuff in free time :)
Stellaris allows you to either create your own race and society or pick one of the pre-generated races and society. You pick your ethics. You pick your tactics and your strategy. Your only real goal is survival. You can play as the United Nations of Earth(pre set nation). You can play as a raider slaver feudal empire. You can play as a necroid species that "uses" other sapient races to increase your population. You can play as a criminal syndicate or you can play as a communal spiritualist peaceful isolationist society. Play as a good guy, play as a bad guy, play as a monstrous robot society that wants to destroy all biological life in the galaxy, play as a machine society seeking only to expand your technological understanding. Play as a hive minded group of Mushrooms living only to farm and populate. Be the crisis coming to destroy the entire galaxy. Build a federation of equal partners if you want or rule over a system of lesser races you've enlightened about interstellar travel or crush and dominate everyone in your path and rule them with an iron fist.
Your choice. No judgements. Be as kind or as murderous as you please. Help the weak or crush them under your boot. Biologically evolve your race to near perfection, or turn your race into a cyborg society fully integrated with machine parts as well as biomass, or turn yourself into a machine and "live forever" in your metal skin or pierce the Shroud and discover psionic mysteries and turn your people into telepaths.
Ultimately you have to find your own way to survive until the end of the game or get crushed under the weight of various crises that arrive whether you want them to or not. The Great Khan. The Grey Tempest. The Awakened Elder races. Machine uprisings. The Scourge. The Unbidden.
And anything else the Paradox custodians and creators dream up to throw at the players.
And they are always dreaming up new nightmares.
you make a race with different traits and what kind of system, that rules your people.... there's so much to it, it's hard to explain it all, but you steer your people into an unknown galaxy, where you need to fight, research, expand, build, spy and be diplomatic in order to survive..... you can choose how you wanna start, but you decide where it all will lead..... to Downfall or Glory..... together or alone... save the galaxy or become the crisis that will end it all
Aww man, you guys are missing possibly the second best Stellaris trailer(after the apocalypse one), the fourth anniversary trailer.
Ah stelaris, so many inside jokes came from this game between me and my friends.
Hi, you should watch, Crusader Kings II - Seven Deadly Sins videos at some point, they are quite funny
One of the more entertaining things to do in stellaris is to peacefully incorperate alien species into your civilization, then to genetically engineer them to be DELICIOUS then nerve staple them so that they cannot resist and turn them into livestock! Yummy! xD
Hey guys, if you watch (stellaris your world will fail) ruclips.net/video/NNFiTf08Awo/видео.html, this video combines all the trailers into one and rearranges them to make it look like a story. I mean, it already was one but this makes the experience more cohesive and better to watch in one go.
5:50 You can exploit Aliens liie this in the game. You can use the chemical process that sustains the aliens to fuel your reactors. The process leads to fatality. They are finally attaining a more efficient form!
you should check out the Templin Institute's "Stellaris Invicta" they used a playthrough of stellaris to tell an epic story
I think it would have helped to react to the very first cinematic trailer for the based game first. Each trailer focuses only on what is new, rather than the whole...
I'm slightly sad that you only watched the cinematic trailers, because you only get half the picture then. You see, most of the Stellaris expansions have one cinematic trailer that introduces the concept of the expansion via cinematic stories and then one game features trailer that not only showcases the expansion's features but also often expands on, adds to or resolves the story in the cinematic trailer. And some expansions, like Synthetic Dawn for instance, only have a cinematic teaser and then the concept story is told in the game features trailer instead. So by only watching the cinematic trailers you miss out on half of the story these trailers are telling.
(Plus you also missed out on the awesome space sea chanty that's in the Aquatics game features trailer)
Ah, we didn’t know that going into it. Believe this list was given to us by a community member. Most of our reactions are requests 🤗
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames Here's a playlist with, what I believe to be every single Stellaris trailer (including the console edition trailers, so those you can ignore)
ruclips.net/p/PL80fX_oy7loz8gCbVJwg2Mbhoc5kWU-hC
got into stellaris by watching Greater Terran Union | Stellaris Invicta Season from The Templin Institute, have now over 300 hours played myself...
Yay you said Triple Trailer Tuesday, but you haven't put it in your title
It's missing the 3rd part of Nemesis where the Custodian removes the term limit of its powers, names itself the Galactic Empire and faces a rebellion. Also a more recent trailer for Toxoids focusing on Scavengers, and the other Aquatics trailer with a space sea shanty.
Awww, you missed the Aquatics Space Shanty one! That's my favourite one!
You guys have to react to the new Fortnite Fracture event that comes out on December 3rd 2022!
Ooooo, Stellaris!!
Paradox Interactive game that focuses heavily on grand strategies, mostly historical, but a couple fictitious games as well.
What I love about Stellaris the most is how it references so many different sci-fi series in various ways from possible races to small events and anomalies you can encounter.
A fair warning for anyone that hasn't played Paradox games before:
They are EXPENSIVE!! The base game is usually like 20, or 30 USD/Euro, but that only gives you the base game. They do update the base game and give some features for free, but they have a tendency to release a lot of DLC's for the same price as the base game.
For example, if you want to buy Europa Universalis IV with all DLC, you'd be shelling out over 300 USD.
Granted, since these are grand strategy games, the price / hour played does have a tendency to even out if you like these kinds of games as it is not uncommon to see people play these games for hundreds of hours as a single campaign takes a long time and these games have an insane replayability.
They do publish other studios games, such as City Skylines (Which is the current city building sim king in my opinion) is published through the Swedish company, the dev team is actually a separate Finnish company.
In my personal collection I have:
Crusader Kings 2 & 3
Hearts of Iron 4
Stellaris
City Skylines
with practically all DLC, so I've emptied my wallet quite a bit for these guys, but I need that grand strategy crack to live. LOL
Sense you saw this could you reac to the Greater Terran union is in stellaris but a made lore well done lore by templin institute
Well I didn't expect you two to do a reaction to this game you should watch ancestor legacy and iron harvest
You did miss some trailers but it's all good
Ok. Didn't expect that.
But you missed a few.
The cinematic trailers are cool and all but they really don’t give a idea of how the game plays like at all
Awesome 👍
If you want a scifi setting with more lore based stories if you havent seen it: Endless Space and Endless Legend both have some fantastic trailers!
As always great reactions and content! Hope you both are doing well and look forward to more reactions!!
Did they do endless space 2 yet? Because that game has awesome cutscenes
Stellaris is one of the games I prefer to call Roll play strategy )
Developers: makes Stellaris: Megacorp
Also Developers: blocks access to it behind a dlc paywall along with hundreds of dollars worth of other dlcs and their features’ paywalls, plus base game cost.
The dev has always been full of it.
Hey guys. Love the matching colors of the shirts. You guys are epicly awesome. 👍
You should watch the stellaris aquatics song
So, we got Stellaris now. A good game indeed. Would you see all race intros from Endless Legend and/or Endless Space? They're all pretty great!
Should definitely play it. And check out the non-cinematic trailers, cuz you missed the Plantoids, Lithoids, and Humanoids trailers. They added a bunch of different portraits, ships, and what not. And Synthetic Dawn and Apocalypse have more trailers that explains what they’re about.
Heretic fleets engage ⚔️
The robot staring into the mirror is meant to indicate it becoming self-aware. AI becoming self-aware is a major part of the game
If you like space stories, i suggest watching the stories of Stellaris Invicta. It's basically playthroughs of Stellaris, narrated with cool visuals and music.
If you want a more long format videos, watch the Stellaris Invicta series by The Templin Institute, specifically their Greater Terran Union, which is a dramatized retelling of their Stellaris playthrough.
Stellaris is an amazing game. Complicated but fun. There are so many different ways to play that you can always make a play through unique. Then you realize that being a xenophile sucks and being a xenophobe is just the way to go.
Hey guys I have watched you videos for 2 years you guys are the best. Keep it up
Compared to Paradox's previous masterpieces this one slightly lacks in the gameplay aspect, but they did an excellent job on making the universe and stories.
My knowledge of the gameplay might be outdated, cause I played this a few years ago.
The utopia one was two seperate and morally opposite empires gearing up to fight over a Dyson sphere to use it's power output to create their version of a utopia.
Synthetic dawn had three guys from the previous trailer being used as batteries by robots a la matrix.
Apocalypse had two planets exploding, the first being mistaken for a sun. Neither was earth.
Hey i love this game! Been playing it tons recently, I am usually an Empire, sole ruler with goal to reach immortality so that i can watch over my people eternally. I tend to evolve from flesh to machine, becoming something greater than either.
PS!! that was no space mirror, those were two robots, in love, holding hands.
9:12 Don't be afraid, the Launch Trailer confirmed that it was "Colony Europa 7"
Well stellaris is a Grand strategy Game in which everything happens in real time (In multiplayer you don't take turns and instead everything happens synchronized) you can create an empire and play with it in a galaxy against AI or other players. Basically you can either purge and enslave the whole galaxy or be nice and grow while creating strong federations and stuff
Okay, this video is such a surprise. lol! I love this game. I'm just shocked that you guys even found out about it. xD
As someone who's played Stellaris and never watched any of these trailers I can say I have absolutely no idea what's going on in them. The ironic thing is, I don't know what's going on in the game when I play it either! I just like sending ships out to scout the systems, kinda relaxing.
Best space game
I remember when this game had potential...when it first came out, and seemed to have scale, and depth, and variety.
Now it's buggy, generic, bloated, and wildly overpriced.
But hey, at least it's not that trashy base-Stellaris clone with a Star Trek skin.
To be fair...the shanty they wrote for Aquatics was pretty good, and they did do a FEW good things. But cripes...they dropped the ball hard, mostly. Nothing but milking money out of players. Almost as bad as EA, Bethesda, or Blizzard.
Oh and if You guys wana Understand Stellaris. Check Out: How to Play Stellaris - ruclips.net/video/ZJIaVZtJgd0/видео.html
The brighter the light, darker the shadow it's about when in game once you get a leading position in galactic community against some Crisis, you can try to get emergency powers and you can try to keep these powers after you dealt with the Crisis.
It's basically the beacon of hope, turning a galactic republic into a galactic empire(not talking about movies sksks)....
Thanks for reacting to it you're amazing
I love building my own interstellar civilization only to watch it be destroyed by rogue ai or parasitic tyranid like monsters from beyond the galaxy.
You cannot be serious... THEY SKIPPED THE RELEASE DATE TRAILER FOR AQUATICS!?! COME ON!!
Simply put, Stellaris is the "Skyrim of space". No you're not a spacedragon... (but you could be). But the game is an open RTS-ish sandbox of vast length and width. What sets Stellaris apart from other strategy and management games is the modability. Every aspect of the game is open to change or management, down to the smallest detail. You can make it as simple or as complicated as you want.
There are a metric butt-ton of mods and even total conversions covering everything from vanilla-but-simple to vanilla-but-twice-as-complex and EVERYTHING in between. You got your Star Wars, Star Trek, Stargate, Mass Effect, 40K, every genre rep you could think of probably has mod representation with all kinds of things put in place.
OH GOD. STELLARIS HELL YEAH
*glees on my Galactic Emperor throne with thousands of hours in this game*
Btw the possibility is ENDLESS. There's mods for this game and hecc you can mod the game with Halo or any other sci-fi stuffs and make a sci fi run with them. Pretty sure I even got a mod before that added the Ark and Halo Array and yes. You can fire the halo array
Btw fyi, there's still more in like the gameplay (release) trailer for the story bits. And also some more music in some of their other trailer videos. Stellaris is just a goldmine
Also you lads are missing... 4th anniversary trailer or so, you will love it! And also like Toxoids/Toxic gods trailer. And also you can probably tell by the comments, they have some trailer with literal fully fledge music track they made in house (aquatic and Toxoids) imma not spoil what exactly it is but it's very fun
"Be aware of the suffering of others, we strive to lessen the suffering and disparity and work towards the common good of all." - DnD - Games 2024 for President, you've got my vote. Well I subscribed anway.
"But how will people know it's a Human planet?"
"........."
"Train?"
"Train."
One of the best things about Stellaris is you can decide just how much the haves have, and how much the have nots have. You can even give everyone perfect utopian egalitarian living condition. You’re just closer to bankrupting yourself if you do.
