This is a pretty solid little workbench. While once you figure out how it comes together, it is physically Easy to assemble ruclips.net/user/postUgkxyFZUPFEey-PuqsPMxqaykBhgA1LWxFHh by yourself. But the diagrams explaining the steps are really pretty bad. I could not get the handle pins in all the way despite multiple attempts, so I just used a screw I had on hand for the 2nd handle. I could not get the first pin in further or pull it back out. You are supposed to hammer it in, but I had no leverage and the handle is plastic and I did not want to risk breaking it. I will get a lot of use out of the bench because of the convenient size and height. It does fold up nicely for storage. They even explain how to fold it so you don't get pinched...that is important!
So glad you finally built yourself a rolling work bench to hold those Heavy saws and so you can work standing up. I was one of those who suggested this well over a year ago. Glad you did it for Many reasons: safety, organization, & ease of use!
You guys really are a "dynamic duo".....batman and robin got nothin' on you two....the work mixed with fun....I'll never get tired of watching this channel ....thanks for all the hard work you both put into your videos, it is sooo appreciated!!!....
you know what touched me most of all? the one-bounce-in-each-box challenge at the very end. can anyone else remember the last time they had such simple fun with their family?
Congratulations on this new addition....much needed. Love the humor and hard work shown....you both are amazing and talented. Happy Thanksgiving! Thanks for sharing!
Functional workbench, don't forget pencil holder and sharpener also an umbrella holder for those really hot summers. Love the design. Have a happy thanksgiving.
So glad to see that you bilt a work bench, and now Andrea can stand and work, and save herself from the pain in the back. I like idea of buying a truck because you need it. All yours projects are pretty big, and you need right car for that. I know that a truck costs a lot, but your are hardworking and well organize, for sure it will be an investment for the future. You two amazed me everytime with your personality and your awesome work!
That darn wind! Wind and sawdust doesn't mix. Sorry Andrea that you got blasted a couple of times in the face. Dean, these videos are never boring with you in them. You guys make them so cute! Butt taps and all! 🥰
So happy you made a work bench !! Particularly enjoyed your apprentice !! He is quite the measurer /drill guy - well done!! 🥰 Bonus -tennis ball challenge 😂 some put the wheels on the ends of a workbench and attach together with a bar so you only have to engage/ disengage half as often when one gets tired of wielding around a cumbersome workbench full of tools -which seems similar to pushing an elephant (I imagine - although I never actually pushed an elephant) some use a portable smaller miter saw cart that has fold down wings Thank you for bringing creativity and joy !! 💕
I am ever SO impressed with this build!! It is so thoughtfully designed and seems to check so many boxes for Andrea’s specific needs! (Mine is actually one of the comments that pops up on the screen of “so many comments” about y’all needing a work table which is exciting-yes, I paused and I know-so silly)! I am just amazed at the final design of it though!! And I am ever tickled Dean won’t have to lug it around anymore!!
I love DIY Wife! This might be my favorite project so far. That bench is so well designed and built. Thanks for all your fantastic content. Happy holidays.
At last a bench - and a mitre saw station 😀 - BUT (sorry for being picky) . . . the bottom shelf on the floor will have you kicking it as you work (think kitchen cabinets with toe-space!) - and the pocket hole screws for the corner legs are in the wrong side of the legs, reducing the strength of the joints) Moving the lower shelf up about 6inches will be simple
Nice work on the bench!!! I love how Dean said it was impressive while Andrea said it was Pretty 🥰. Viewers no longer have to worry about Dean dropping the saw on his foot trying to move it!!! Although we will miss his funny comments about how heavy & awkward it was.
I love your RUclips Channel. I look forward to your post. Congratulations on the work bench. Long over due. Glad to see the new addition to your DIY projects.
Great episode 👏 Andrea you are a marvel, and thank you, Dean for your humor --- much needed 😀 Wishing you all safe travels and a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Finally!!! Hahah, this was immensely satisfying, thank you 😅 We are all going to be grateful on your behalf every time we see the bench being wheeled out!
Yahoo-oo! you took mine and other subscribers advice to make a cart ( in your case work table) for your saw so that poor Dean didn't hurt himself or accidently drop the saw. I am impressed. Wow!!!
Hiya! This might be the DIY WIFE channel but please know how much we appreciate you both. Dean, We know you as the comic relief here. We also know you are a magician with the editing, and you are particularly talented with one of my favorite things... THE MUSIC. 💐🎶💙🎹💃🎵💚🎧🎸🎤🎚😎❤💥🎙🎷🎼💜🎛🔌🎶 It's not just background to me! I thoroughly enjoy this channel. Thanks for all your talents & hard work. Happy Thanksgiving to all! p.s. ALL of those 975,000 people who suggested building a work bench should have also hit the subscribe button. Just sayin'. 😊
Great job 😊. Now make a corn hole game, a teter- tot, a horseshoe game area, tether ball and a pergola to sit under and watch the kids and their friends enjoy it all. You are such great parents. I’m so glad you get the kids involved with your projects.
Andrea, I am in awe of all your skills. My Dad was a hardworking and talented finish carpenter and my siblings and I spent every weekend playing at his large workshop when we were young while he worked. And Dean, you are too cute and make the videos fun to watch. 😊
I waited for this video for a long time , but I must say I will miss The Table Saw Olympics that Dean had to compete in whenever there was a wood project on the horizon.🥇🏅🏆
Thanks! I was gearing up to build a similar mobile workbench for our school, but using traditional casters. The adjustable casters you selected are so much more versatile!
I have the same van! Love it! I always sing the Chevy song "like a rock" that they use for their truck commercials lol. My sisters always laugh. I tell them the same thing. It's like a truck! Just lower. I am so glad Andrea got her table! And dean doesn't have to keep carrying it in and out anymore. Lol the kids helping was so sweet!
Just an idea. You could add retractable supports to the two ends... Basically a simple frame that pulls out like a drawer and you can place plywood on for temporary extensions for big cuts
And now you can organize the garage so that it’s a real workshop for Andrea and I am so glad that now Dean won’t never have an hernia love you both happy thanksgiving in advance ❤
Very nice! My husband built a similar work bench with those exact wheels. Except he used post and put the wheels on the inside because he was worried he would trip with the wheels on the outside .
I LOVE it! And you so deserved to be able to make your days easier. Good thing that saw was RIGID enough to survive the drop. Love your vids guys… even the bloopers.
Nice addition, way to go Andrea, and thank you both for a fun episode ❤ happy Thanksgiving to you two and family. Looking forward to the next projects. 🙌🏽❤️
Now you just need to move everything around in the garage to make it fit. It's brilliant, maybe Dean can just crash the cart now and then to keep him happy 😊
Looks great! Just a thought, for your work area, a deep work sink might be a future idea. That way you won't have to worry about traveling thru the house, or getting leaves and dirt in your sprayer and projects.
We have two solid wood closet doors that I plan to repurpose into work benches. The doors are 2-3 feet wide by 6ft long. Having two separate benches will allow for more work to be done but if we need a larger bench I will put sink holes in the necessary places to attach them. It's safer than clamping them down.
Yay!! We are not getting younger and your back will thank you for building that table! It looks great, simple but very functional! Happy Thanksgiving! And FYI it's a whopping 18° in Wisconsin right now 🥶, what I wouldn't do for 60° right now😬
Love your videos! And...a suggestion for a video or series of videos - a clean out and organize your garage! You know they say "if you haven't used it for a couple of years get rid of it"
Well, it is about time girl! Dean, no more cross fit for you. Well done Andrea! Share the plans so my husband will get his stuff all in one place, please! Happy Thanksgiving to all 6 of you. Thanks so much for sharing your lives with us!

I can't say enough I love watching.
Dean is such a goofball but we love him❤️❤️❤️
I have no interest in ever building something like this and yet I was so entertained. Love the bench and the video!
Finally! FINALLY!!! I was hurting for you bad!
So glad you finally built yourself a rolling work bench to hold those Heavy saws and so you can work standing up. I was one of those who suggested this well over a year ago. Glad you did it for Many reasons: safety, organization, & ease of use!

So happy to see your son enjoying your work with you. He was so cute!
What would we do without u guys!?! 😂😂😂 U make a great team & the entertainment never stops❣️🫶🏻
You did knock it out of the park! This is so impressive. Dean, you always make me laugh out loud, thank you.

Love the idea of an umbrella holder

Thank you so much for showing this because I want my own work bench eventually and I'm doing it just like yours.
I would gladly pay for your build plan, that’s exactly what I’d like to do in my garage. Great job A!
So happy you made a work bench !!
Particularly enjoyed your apprentice !!

I love that you show your little helper what you are doing and let him participate
I love the saw table. Nice job!!! Only, I think the bottom shelf should be higher off the ground so it would roll easier.
What are the haters gonna complain about now? 😅😅 y’all did amazing on this project. Happy thanksgiving!!
Dean is so funny. I am cracking up the whole time. Andrea you are fierce. I am so impressed with your wood working skills.
Finally! I've been hoping you guys will get to this project. Glad it finally came.
I am ever SO impressed with this build!! It is so thoughtfully designed and seems to check so many boxes for Andrea’s specific needs! Happy thanksgiving to you both and the rest of the family! Many blessings to you! Thanks for the videos!
Love The Wheels on the bench. I need to get some of those. Now that the bench is built we can all relax!!! Phew!
I love DIY Wife! This might be my favorite project so far. That bench is so well designed and built. Thanks for all your fantastic content. Happy holidays.

I love your RUclips Channel. I look forward to your post. Congratulations on the work bench. Long over due. Glad to see the new addition to your DIY projects.
This day finally came!😅😂
This is exactly what I was thinking during the kitchen makeover for your big heavy saw that you kept carrying back-and-forth.
Kansas 43 hi 23 low. Love seeing the kids help. the bench is wonderful
Great episode 👏 Andrea you are a marvel, and thank you, Dean for your humor --- much needed 😀
Wishing you all safe travels and a wonderful Thanksgiving!

So good! Now, it’s time to plan for an awning to work under!! You are badass!
Yahoo-oo! you took mine and other subscribers advice to make a cart ( in your case work table) for your saw so that poor Dean didn't hurt himself or accidently drop the saw. I am impressed. Wow!!!
And the heavens opened up and the angels sang a sweet melody! ❤

Very satisfied, glad you have a proper workbench 🥰
You deserve this great workbench, guys.

I enjoy Dean totally as much as Andrea. Your channel is brilliant. Thank you.

Awesome bench. You are amazing at what you do. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Loved the “Lowe’s Trip” jingle! 😂
I have the same van! Love it! I always sing the Chevy song "like a rock" that they use for their truck commercials lol. My sisters always laugh. I tell them the same thing. It's like a truck! Just lower.

It's brilliant, maybe Dean can just crash the cart now and then to keep him happy 😊
Great job Andrea! Nice video filming and editing Dean. Happy Thanksgiving to all
Great job! Turned out really well. So practical.
What a great table!!!
Kind of sad to know we will not get Dean's adventures with the saw anymore 😕
Looks great!
Just a thought, for your work area, a deep work sink might be a future idea. That way you won't have to worry about traveling thru the house, or getting leaves and dirt in your sprayer and projects.
I'm so jealous of that workbench 😩😩

The scene where Dean unloaded the van had me rolling. 😂
YAY!!!! Once again, you're such an inspiration!
Love your videos! And...a suggestion for a video or series of videos - a clean out and organize your garage! You know they say "if you haven't used it for a couple of years get rid of it"
Great video! Andrea make your own bins, maybe.... see you next video.
Well, it is about time girl! Dean, no more cross fit for you. Well done Andrea! Share the plans so my husband will get his stuff all in one place, please!
Happy Thanksgiving to all 6 of you. Thanks so much for sharing your lives with us!
I can’t tell you how happy this video made me. Your work bench is great. Better yet I don’t have to watch Dean drop your miter saw anymore.😂😂
Amazing video as always! Dean was like the mayor of Home Depot, shaking hands with every Santa and getting a picture. Love it. 😂
Absolutely awesome build! Congratulations!
YAY!!! Great job!
