I just picked up a used D70 to use with some vintage lenses I acquired. There is something to be had about using this beast/boat anchor of a camera. Thank you for these straight to the point, easy to follow video lessons!

I just got a D70 in a box of assorted camera equipment. Thanks for the quick tutorial. I'm trying to figure if it's worth messing with as I use a different system.

Thank you for these, a very helpful refresher for my old D70 which I recall takes great looking photos.

The D70 is supposed to be decent for infrared in it's stock configuration.
I'm not a digital guy, but with the price of what is passing for infrared film these days, I thought it might be worth a try.
I just picked up one for cheap and with a warranty from one of the big online stores.
I'll definitely be watching the rest of the series over the next few days. And I'm sure that I will be using the chapter markers for review.

Hi I recently purchased this camera and I’m having trouble working it, everytime I try to take a photo the number that shows in brackets on the screen on the top of the camera changes to r07 wondering what that means? And I also don’t know how to turn the screen on to view photos taken could you help)

The r07 answer is easy -- that tells you how many photos remain in the buffer. For the screen, check the display button and see if that works (video 2 should demonstrate that.) For the photos not being taken, there are a lot of different reasons that could occur depending on your camera's mode. Set it to manual mode and set the lens to manual focus. Also check that your drive mode is not on self-timer. If the camera then takes a photo, it works and whatever is going on right now has to do with some setting that is preventing the camera from taking a photo without enough light or without having focus confirmed.

The index is not correct. E g., there is no discussion of memory cards @1:22. You might have mixed up the index with video 2.

Does this camera can record video?
