I have that same fuel tank, decal and all, on my 2004 Spirit as a temporary replacement for my damaged original tank. I think it's a litre or so smaller but works. The only problem is the fuel valve has interference with the newer chrome trim on top of the motor. I had to remove the left rear cylinder head top chrome trim to use the tank. This comment is for those with a similar issue. I'm thinking that having a couple of good clean fuel tanks waiting in wings is a good idea if you can swing it.
Yeah, the light don't read me quite frequently. A real PIA. OH, the cam batteries ... recommend put a new one in if it easily accessible. Some products it's a PIA to replace battery.
I refill my Spirit tank about every 80 miles and now with the smaller tank about 60 to 70 miles. It will do about 120 miles on the highway using reserve capacity. SO, about 32 to 35 mpg.
great vid bro!! how do u like this bike?
