    I love these kinds of videos Piotr! They're hugely helpful for people starting out or those who need to brush up on their skills. I will say something you should avoid is placing flags and 4x4s with the pin sticking up like you have them leaning against your van. This can scrape location walls or scrape the paint off your van surprisingly easily. I've seen it happen several times as the truck/van will bounce up and down slightly when people enter and exit which causes the pin to basically rub up and down into the paint. I always try to teach the guys and galls that work with me to turn them to the side so as to avoid this. Stellar video though and I love your videos like these!

      Glad you enjoyed it! I usually have a rope across the box to hold them in. I never rent the van out without me, so I can stay on top of the QC. But you have a great point, those can jam up the door quick.

      @@PDMokry This will be a big part of my 2024 purchases. I don't own much at the moment. I rent from a local friend when I need it mostly due to lack of storage at my house. Once that gets ironed out, I will be picking up more and more. Eventually invest in a van too.

    Your C-Stand on the left (rear vehicle side) is set wrong. The gobo head on your arm, grabbing your Flags is set incorrectly, in a Lefty-Loosey position, which is not safe. Just pointing out for anyone who might be using this to learn from.

    Thanks for always putting out such informative and useful videos. I have a 2x3 nets and silk and it recently got a bit wet from rain. I'm wondering if there's any maintenance I should think of after they get wet from main. Thanks in advance!

      Glad to help! I would always start with a test area. But dawn soap and hand cleaning with a soft sponge, then air drying should clean it right up.

    Nice! What’s the best method you’ve found to clean/maintain your rags?

    • @PDMokry
      @PDMokry  11 месяцев назад

      Avoid a lot of Sun if possible because of UV damage. Humidity and heat are also bad. So I don’t let them live in the van too long.
      Mild soap and had wash works great on diff.

    Have to get some of these double sided 4x4's! (black on the outside/ white on the inside) Much more convenient than a five in one reflector you can't boom! Thanks for sharing! Do you have a an affiliate link or recommendation wehere and what brand to get them from?

      @PDMokry  11 месяцев назад +1

      @@MarkusLompa I use the 40x40 system from Matthews and Canvas Grip also makes a 42x42 system. They are smaller overall, but fit better in most situations. I would also look into shot bags. 1/3 to 1/4 the size of sandbags. Opening up a ton of space!

    Hi, I see you use those black c stands all the time. What is the exact name of them? Thanks

    • @PDMokry
      @PDMokry  11 месяцев назад +1

      These are made by Matthews, and they are called C-Stands. I always recommend looking for used first. All mine are bought second hand.
