How to adjust the plate height on a Woodzilla press

  • This video shows the height adjustment steps for the upper plate of a Woodzilla press. The demo is on an A5 type, but it works the same on any type.
    Changing the working height of your press will allow you to use thicker materials like woodblocks.
    Simply unscrew the 2 wing-screws and place them back in the next hole. Wiggle a bit to line it up with the threaded hole in the main lever and screw them back in. Don't forget to unscrew them about 1/2 turn to allow the plate to hinge freely.

    So if you want to print a thin linocut on paper, which height is optimal? The upper or the lower holes' setting?

    Does this option allow you to use mounted linoleum with the press?? Trying to find one for my friend
