Releasing demos is a constant trent. I guess that makes us the lucky ones.
"Sun screams at us from the sky.
Good day, take a look and die"
It's such a powerful line, a shame it didn't make it into the release
The psytrance-y Celldweller songs are always bangers. By default
Loved me the trance/metal stuff from the first album.
Yes
I just found this version of this song and I'm in love :3
I would love to hear a 2004 Demo/Wish Upon a Blackstar remix
I would love to have heard this released as a track in its own right with different (or even no) lyrics. Absolute club banger.
Loved your music in crackdown, now I play your songs when playing warframe, fits really well.
Bro u make the best music of rock and tech
Fr! Why tf is he so underrated
Beautiful !!!
Love this demo
this is the psytrance we want to hear
Moral of the story, good writers have ideas, great writers cut their ideas.
Well said
@Lil Yeet virtually none of this made it into the final song, it’s in a different key, F minor instead of C minor, and the texture sounds like it’closer to the last firstborn. Mediocre songwriters try and finish every idea they have, the best songwriters are prone to scrapping 90% of what they’re working on, keeping the best ideas from an old session and working them into a new version of the song.
@@tophan5146 I think this is actually a creative writing reference, a good writer cuts down everything that isn't absolutely necessary tonthe story.
Probably applies to music as well.
@@robertlavery6896 applies to a lots of things. Elon Musk famously advocates: “Best part is no part. Best process is no process”
@@robertlavery6896 Btw, what a coincidence that you replied to me about this topic right now. I’m currently working on a 1h+ video project and have lots of material, all of it is great and I would pain to me to not include any... but I realize I will have to reject some parts just to make the whole video flow better etc.
And then I had a realization... I can always upload good unused material to youtube later! I’m so glad ☺️
Cool
Wow
Fantastiline, tänan!
Wow, haven't herd much celldweller since NFSMW. It's amazing to find that they have a youtube chanel!
Not 'they' but 'he', and his name is Klayton
He has three others, too
Circle of Dust, Scandroid, and FreqGen.
I think the FiXT channel is also his.
