I think you should make more of these videos. I cant even put into words how nice it feels to see people who are just regular people like me, who sings like most of us (bad) actually getting better. All we see in singing competitions and other videos is people who are just talented and naturally gifted, not plebs who sound like your little brother in the shower actually improving and sounding good. this LITERALLY boosts my confidence.

Am I right in thinking, he also has a lack of breath control? Meaning, he isn’t drawing in enough air, so that he’s using his diaphragm and chest muscles to force the air/sound out.? I’m wondering if the vocal coach addressed any type of breathing exercises.

Really good progress and I also began to improve a lot after finding your videos, more so than I had over a year of vocal rehab, and a long time working on my own even though I was a vocal coach for years and a professional singer before getting sick. I think I could be much, much further on had I been in a position to get paid lessons through your web site (Do you still do that) but still just with what I learned from your free content I cam on leaps and bounds. I do have to disagree with this guy that he was not as bad as you used to be though. You were still on pitch for the most part and in tune and a lot of what didn't sound great was just bad vocal choices in my opinion. It would be cool to hear this guy again now and without the distraction of the vocal, he's trying to sing along with.
It´s so funny, just watching your videos and other vocal coaches videos that do similar things of what you do in this channel I actually fixed some problems I had with my voice, not all of them and of course my voice isn´t the best voice ever, but now I´m not embarased of it when i´m singing in front of other people, I improved so much thanks to you sooooo... thank you for making this content and for been the great human you are, love u! :D

I’m definitely not a vocal coach but I feel like partly why he sounds off in those videos is because he’s holding himself back - It just reminded me of when I was younger trying to sing my karaoke games but I was too shy to do it unless I was completely home alone so I’d be quiet and hold it back (because I cannot sing...at all lmao).

I think your videos are so good and I love them. But I'm kinda struggling with combining technique and feeling while I practice to sing cause I get too focused on techniques... 😅
I hope you don't feel too discouraged because this is super common! The solution is to practice technique so much it becomes second nature, then you can focus more on coloring the voice without losing the technique.
