Really! I didn't know it looks like Cuba but anyway that's good information thanks a lot for the feedback and indeed Jinja is a beautiful city it stands out among all the cities in Uganda
Thanks again as usual for showing us Uganda. When we are in the diaspora we miss home a lot. I grew up in visiting Jinja for holidays and it was much better, safer and more lively than Kampala. Seeing it again 20 years later, it brings back good memories. For this I’m subscribing😃😃😃. 🙏🙏
Jinja is the best planned City in Uganda. Colonialists planned it in such a way that the areas right close to the bridge were 'rich people ' settlements and the Indians settled around the CBD. Right now most of those buildings aren't owned by Indians. They were sold off to Ugandans.
We wish nothing but the best for Salla Tourist! She should run for office in Jinga! She’s an inspiration for all Ugandans! Thank God the goods r sourced from n by fellow Ugandans. When I travel to Uganda I definitely want to put money back into the pockets of fellow Ugandans not Indians or other non Africans.

Im a Kenyan from Nakuru City 🇰🇪 . Jinja should be older than Kampala. It's one of the most beautiful cities in Uganda. I think that together with Mbale, Gulu and Soroti cities it is far more organised and laid back than chaotic Kampala.
Hello this is Geofrey from UAE, I love the tour of my home town, it's been so amazing. The only issue I would advise salla is to make prior study of an area before touring it especially that She says she's from Jinja she was expected to know a good number of street names and important landmarks that Jinja has. I pray that next time you make a tour of this place you invite me coz at least I know 90%of the streets and locations and some history behind the town. Thank you
By the way I hope Sarah understands my point of view. I love her work and respect her that's why I find it crucial to correct her, in order to give us good content. For you from day one you decided to tour us around our country I loved you and your work bro more blessings
What amazes me about Jinja is the architecture of the buildings in the CBD. Indian style shops and well planned streets. The other well planned town is Mbale. Watching from Kenya.
@@ugconnect hey u told him! They’re not their as your friends ,they only want the Uganda money 💰! Please don’t be fooled! Jinja is cheap in terms of food. Buy since its a tourist destination, hotels try to hike the cost. They almost compete with Kampala

Such a nice town. It should be flooded with tourists.
How many miles/kilometres is this from the village?
It's 50miles or 81kilometers from Kampala

Thank you for watching and the clarification
Is Jinja Uganda's second biggest city? It looks like Eldoret or Nakuru
The second biggest is Mbarara city
It remains Jinja in terms of size or land area and date of establishment. Please more research bro
And in terms of city they consider land area, population living in and out and some infrastructure.
But for mbarara it's just a growing city with a small land area though with some good infrastructure in terms of buildings

I thought Idi Amin chased away all the Indians. I am surprised that many are still owning many buildings in Jinja.
They came back in the 90s
Many came back and chose to become citizens
The current govt invited and is still inviting them back and those that can prove ownership of their property they can have it back
