There is an easy way to balance an equation. Eg) C3H8 + O2 ~> CO2+H2O so you first take the 8 from Hydrogen and place it next the other H like that (8H2O)and then you take the 3 from C3 and x it by 2 and you will place that answer next to CO like that (6CO2) and then from (6CO2) you multiply that 6 by 2 which is next (CO(2) you will get 12…. And then (8H2O) you multiply 8 by the 1 next to Oxygen which is 8(0(1) like that and then you take 12 + 8 =20 and you divide that answer by 2 you get 10 that 10 you got you place it 10O2 from the equation and you 2C3H8+ 10O2~>6CO2+8H20 you then divide all of those number by 2 (C3H3+5O2~>3CO2+4H2O) as you r answer l don’t know if it makes sense

Hi Mr Nkosi. For the substation reaction at time 13:46, why was only one chlorine substituted ? Could you substitute both chlorine’s and the left over would be 2 hydrogens ? Or will it be wrong ?

So sir can we deduct that in addition reactions for unsaturated compounds(alkene),we'll never have inorganic products?
Correct
Sir for 36:28 what if i placed the double bond in the ethyl not propane would i still be correct?
The answer was 2C8H18+25O2=16CO2+18H2O
Correct
c8h18+25/2o2=8co2+9h20
So it implies unsaturated carbons always undergoes an addition reaction
