@@gnoldantaf6241 all she needed is a Golden Globes nom, & I think Academy will nominate her regardless of the other ceremonies as long as they see it worth nominating, it’s already on their radar, that’s for sure.
@@angelotrinidad6888 you're wrong Golden Globe alone is not an assurance it's a weak support since its members are only journalists, she needs important and reliable support like with Academy members in it, like BAFTA and SAG to solidify her chances of an Oscar nom, remember that even some actors and actresses were snubbed of an Oscar nomination even with the Golden Globe, BAFTA and SAG noms in the past years.
@@gnoldantaf6241 That’s cool, but correct me if I am wrong but Kathy Bates & Edward Norton were Oscar-nominated & is considered the strongest performance in that year for American History X & Misery but neither of both were nominated for SAG & Bafta…
@@angelotrinidad6888 she also misses AACTA yesterday in which some members are Australian Academy members, but those two you mentioned are very rare occasions, and Dolly being a foreign actress needs a strong support from the guilds to be recognized with an Oscar nomination

Dolly De Leon has a lot of competition in those awards with established actresses such as Jaime Lee Curtis, Kerry Condon, Jessie Buckley, Angela Bassett, Hong Chau, and Carrey Mulligan; among others.
