Cece was leading those Point of Grace girls up as they were singing. My nana absolutely loves Point of Grace and CECE WINANS SO MUCH! Winans' songs like Goodness of God and That's My King are my nana's favorite songs
M.W.S. doesn't have one of the greatest voices like some of these guys, but he produces the BEST musical arrangements.
Cece voice is very distinct. She barely has to sing anything, and her voice is VERY IMPACTFUL!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

That brought tears to my eyes. MWS is easily one of my all time favorite contemporary Christian music artists. It was good to know that this song was honored at the Doves back then.

I stumbled upon this video tonight. Wow it is SO GOOD!! Can't believe I never got to enjoy this any earlier. 2003 Epic!! Amy looks stunning (reminds me of her Big Yellow Taxi era) and performs a rare duet with SCC. I love the part where Anointed comes in with key modulation. So uplifting! Cece & POG are great too but perhaps Anointed should come in last cuz their performance is more powerful overall. Still, what a star-studded event. Love it!! 😍🤩
My favorite part of this video is when I see Mac Powell sing Friends are friends forever. I also like Michael Tait's part. I like the beginning when Amy and SCC sing the first verse and chorus

Just now realizing how much Anointed is like BeBe + CeCe. I always thought Mary Mary was modeled after BeBe & CeCe (and they were in a lot of ways), but Anointed is the 2000s version of BeBe & CeCe.

I am learning the song 'Friends' on piano, because my friends at 'All Peoples Church', which used to be in Diamond Bar, CA, all joined forces to pray me OUT of a coma caused by a brain aneurism. My mom initially called both of my brothers and told them to hurry down to California if they wanted to say "goodbye" to me beFORE I die. "He's currently at Torrance Memorial, in Torrance, CA, where the neurologist said her mentor, Dr. Vespa, the neurologist at UCLA Medical Center could perform a NEW procedure that could save his life, but you have to HURRY!"
Another neurosurgeon somehow found OUT about this conversation, calls my wife and says, "I've been practicing medicine for 25 years, so I know what works, and what does NOT work, and that procedure by Dr. Vespa will NEVER work!"
My poor wife responded, "I'm CERTAIN you know more about this than I do, but we don't seem to have much of a choice!"
Well, obviously, it DID work, because the person entering this information right NOW is that man. But for the rest of my life, I'm going to be quoted for what I said when the medical staff saw me open my eyes after 4 weeks in my coma, take a look at the weeping woman at my bedside, my wife of 17 years, and every medical person yelling out, "Wa-HOO!", and ask me if I recognize the woman. I said, "I'm not sure who she is, but I think I like her a lot."
(Of course, I had to be TOLD that I said this, because I don't remember ever SAYING this!!!)
